Stylish and very low will not work, or do something with a body kit and cut the rear bumper, for example, or raise the car by 2-3 cm, or shit on everything and do 5-7 cm from the goose to the ground and that's it upright! About the catalyst - removing it will add 100% dynamics and a little power in our cases by 5-10 hp, my opinion is that you need to weld NOT a PIECE OF PIPE, but a flame arrester - this will be correct (and will a little quieter than just with a piece of pipe)
About the diameter of the track - I would measure it at the narrowing of the pants and the approach to the catalyst! And it was under this FACTORY diameter that I would build the entire track! As mentioned above - If the FACTORY diameter is not observed (for example, a smaller pipe), this will either choke the engine and there will be a loss of power, or (if the pipe is larger) it will create an imbalance, respectively, the pressure in the line will drop and there will also be a loss of power + this is fraught with a breakdown of the internal combustion engine, for example the valve in the cylinder head may burn out, etc., etc. IMHO.
