For a long time I did not please myself with new ratings and comments in my BZ.
Because was on a short forced vacation, then basically tinkering with the car, while the temperatures on the street and in the unheated and unlit garage of a friend allowed.
Two days were spent to bring the chassis to stock for the winter. I took off my potenza racks and stuck the stock ones, because. very low for winter, rubber already comes into the arches. Unfortunately the stock struts aren't in as good a condition as I'd like, so I'm now driving around with the rear tapping. There is a suspicion of knocking cups, but in general it doesn’t soar, because in winter everything knocks everywhere. I'll leave the winter and throw it out nah)
Also, all the same, it was necessary to remove fashionable Celsior brakes and put stock, because I did not find the spacers I needed. More precisely, I found spacers, but the wheels still did not fit. Well, nothing, a couple of hours of leisurely picking and stock took its rightful place for the winter.
The next day spent on the car began with a printout of a couple of pages from the tourerv.ru forum, because finally got around to cleaning the throttle, VVT valve and idle valve. I printed out the instructions just in case, but when I started to disassemble everything, it turned out to be extremely simple and understandable. There was not much dirt to say, but cleaning definitely did not become superfluous. It took almost a full bottle of carb cleaner to clean up, but the result was worth it. The whole procedure took about 2 hours of leisurely pastime. The clean BDZ shone with new colors and perhaps added a bit of power and responsiveness to my 2.5 liter milk carton.
Along the way, I changed the terminals on the battery, since the sand did not fall from my relatives. I put copper on the advice, we'll see. It seems to me that there is no difference between copper and lead.
When I started the car after cleaning the database, the idle was around 2000, I was already frightened that I messed up something, because I read about this on the forum, but thanks for suggesting that I need to travel a bit and train the computer. In general, after a couple of hours of running through the city, idle returned to normal, the engine began to work a little smoother than before cleaning. In short, I'm happy)
For some reason unknown to me, I did not photograph any of the listed procedures, because in principle they are quite typical and there is nothing special to photograph, so forgive me that in the 21st century of HD video and 15 pixel digital cameras, I treat you naked and nothing unremarkable test)
