A bit of theory - fuel consumption - Toyota Soarer, 4.0 liter, 1986

I climbed, then just now, on the forums, leafed through the Toyota primers ... I found an interesting statement:

      Toyota Soarer 40 1986

What does this mean for us?
1) The computer is very much guided by the readings of the coolant temperature sensor
2) The characteristics of the coolant temperature sensor eventually go out of the specified ranges.

What is the result? Yes, what the brain of your Toyota wanted to saw on the testimony of all kinds of lambdo umbrellas and other trifles. If the sensor is old, then the engine is colder than necessary for the ECU. This means that all money will not be issued. So it will pour and move the UOZ.

It's all theory. In practice, let's see how my engine reacts to the replacement of the temperature sensor. By the way, I did not take off the battery terminal, for the computer the sensor remained virtually the same. Also, there are no lambda probes on my engine.

From the first result - idling after warming up to normal temperature was set at 650 rpm. On the old sensor, the revolutions were 720-740 (the charms of an electronic tachometer with digital indication), the revolutions fell to the level of 650 only after you had traveled a considerable distance.
