5th stage (Preparation for tinting the rear lights) — Toyota Celica, 2.0 liter, 1990
We decided to toned them a little, since the central rear bar is darker than the lights themselves.
I dismantled everything, sanded the 600 under some water. I pasted over unnecessary elements with masking tape and newspaper so that paint would not get on them.
The paint of the guys is not from a spray can, as it is sold in stores, at gas stations. We specially ordered paint for us, so that stop signals and dimensions could be seen during the day and in sunny weather. And decided not to tone much.
In addition to this, a lot of other work has already been done, right now I finally have time to write.
Firstly. we found where to install it will be possible to blow off))) now the mudflow will puff)
Secondly, a bunch of spare parts have already come to us from Japan, all small things, rubber bands, a fuel filter, attachments for a stick from the hood, all sorts of pleasant little things. The main thing is we are waiting for the engine temperature sensor and the USR system sensor.
Thirdly, we have already finished work with the doors, altered them, but even replaced the carpet on the skins! and was also sewn cover and gear knob =) in general, the interior is fully assembled, as well as another nice moment! New Rainbow speakers will be delivered this week =) But more on that later.
In the next blog I will tell you about the plans. I'll also show pictures and stuff. Right now, there is.
To be continued…(very soon)
In the photos they are not yet toned, but prepared, just on them you can see that the central part is darker. now the rear lights look the same as the rear part, the same dark ones.
Well done.
And why did you tan everything? Now the rear bar is again darker than the lights. Or does it just seem so?
There is no pash on it. And we don't want to do anything like that. they are not strongly tinted) in general, I suggested blowing out with dark red, but because of the dark bar, this does not work.
Well, what can I say :)
since I am a very ardent opponent of any tinting of lanterns, then IMHO is not the best way out :)
There is no alternative optics for the Selick?
Thank you, there was a way out to look for a light bar. but we could not find it, if it is available, you can always return everything back. I sanded the headlights 3 times before finally painting them.
If this was the only way out of this situation, then he is right! on Selick in the back optics 18 chuninh NO! only if original or DEPO!
)) with this engine, changes will not be so global.
you just need to make it easier. because the EGR system is choking him … the turbine pressure is not released like with a blow off. it is extinguished gradually ... but we do not want to.
Let's see how we can change everything. these are already plans for the spring, before Ng she should already go :)
in a fraud!) well, usually there is not enough power, especially if you have already started to be smart with the engine ;-)
you think right)
the idea is, right now, to finish this motor, to ride. if you still need to put another one there, and this one will stand on the red Selick :)
ahh) understandable) well, it will be great) but probably not soon, right? Might have to ride it first.
exactly the same but from the Kaldino 2000s, too, 3S-GTE only there are 260 horses in stock. you can raise the pressure of the turbine … etc.)) but this is enough. My brother made one for himself...
Yo-mine! I’m talking about the engine) There’s nothing to even say ... I don’t really rummage in Toyotas - is there some kind of engine even cooler for her?)
No, the first pictures were just taken at home, when I sanded them, and where the car was already standing, I wrapped it with masking tape. I'll post pics soon for you to see
Thank you Andriukh, but we will also change the motor later;)
congratulations on the blow-off)
I don’t understand - is it already toned in the last photo or not?
The background on the pictures is different, so the perception is interrupted. and the middle bar on the last one seems even darker.
