Replacing the main oil seal and clutch disc — logbook Toyota Carib 1989

The main oil seal leaked ...
It’s problematic to get to it on a 4A-FE and an MT 4WD box ... It’s not an option to remove the motor, because of the clutch basket, when you try to pull the motor off the box, it will hit the right langeron. You will have to remove all the pulleys and timing, and possibly the block head.
Once again, I didn’t want to climb into the motor, because it is in excellent condition (last summer I completely made it)
I decided to remove the box! Well, that's right, we are not looking for easy ways :)
I didn’t take a picture of the whole process, but dismantled the floor of the car: I removed the left rack, hub, lever and drive, removed the subframe, stabilizer, right drive and cardan. Then I disconnected all the cables of the wings and the speedometer, and in order to unscrew the starter and razdatka from the engine, I had to remove the intake manifold ...
Here's what happened:

sorry for not washing...

the box itself

I pulled it out to take it to the sink and wash it, because even before me, oil was driving from the distributor until I sorted it out and a “Russian tan” formed on the box from a mixture of oils and dirt

The field of how I washed everything, re-glued the pan, changed the main oil seal, decided to also change the clutch disc, release bearing and oil in the box since I got into such a jungle, otherwise the disc was already on the way, and the oil in the cold behaved in such a way that On startup, the car didn't want to start. I had to squeeze the clutch to start, otherwise it was not possible to turn it :(
Then I assembled everything in the reverse order

This is not a "Russian tan" but a Russian soundproofing of the units)))

Did you shoot the box in your arms, together or in one?

It is better to remove the engine and gearbox assembly. Then I did it in a small garage, in a pit. Now I have a service station and there is a lift, I would not do ananism

did you end up removing the timing belt and pulleys or was there enough space? Is the machine easier or harder to shoot? — His neighbor changed, said that they did everything with the recess of the internal combustion engine + automatic transmission, and it seems like there are no options.

about better and now - everything is clear, my congratulations)
I don’t have a hundred and a lift, so I need to estimate the amount of work and my strength to replace the main and oil pump oil seal of the automatic transmission, so once again - did I remove the timing and pulleys in the end or is there enough space?
