first start!..failure(((- Toyota Carina ED, 2.0 liter, 1991

The car stood before me stupidly for 3 years in a damp garage (in fact, it rotted from this!). And of course after that I expected various surprises from her!

So … the body is ready, it's time to fill in gasoline, change the oil and filter and go to take shape. Today I went to warm up the engine to drain the oil and ... I almost fried it (

Idles go off scale (although before that I cleaned the BDZ and KXX), the arrow on the temperature sensor lies, the stove does not heat, then the arrow jumped sharply to the level of overheating, boiled and splashed antifreeze! Looks like the thermostat didn't open...I'll go look tomorrow...

So so so ... the thermostat plows! It turned out that the antifreeze faded in an unknown direction ... I opened the floor of the engine after overheating, checked everything, soldered the radiator, checked all possible antifreeze leaks and changed the gasket on the thermostat just in case. We must wait for the sealant to harden, pour in new antifreeze, change the oil along with the filter and try to start!

Hmm ... without candles, it scrolls manually and periodically with a starter. Can't with candles. It looks like the cylinders have moved and the bulges have turned out, and the pistons get stuck there. And the antifreeze left through the coolant pump (there is some kind of stray, but I don’t understand what it is, what is it like an air hole O_o?)
New engine? Boring cylinders and sticking a repair kit? Or maybe lead to the service and pay the loot? The last option is not an option! Tell me something...

The stray on the pump turned out to be a drain hole in case the gland was killed! And if it flows from it, then the gland is dead!

Prospects:
try to ride and start "from the pusher";
scatter the engine and look inside;
most likely to bore the block (either a repair kit or sleeves);
carry out a complete cleaning of the engine;
repair the coolant pump;
if all else fails, change the engine! (from Vlad, 71 thousand mileage, cleared by customs, with documents of course - 22 tyrov + 5 tyrov delivery)

An idiot's dream come true! wanted to sort out the engine, on! don't cry! Okay ... I'll do everything anyway!

We mumble further...
