where is the nofelet? — Toyota Camry, 2.2 liter, 1996

two weeks ago, our immense began to sprinkle with snow. On the road, where there was ice, where, sorry, snot. Well, in general, I had to instinctively press the brake pedal a couple of times, the wheels blocked. Then I remembered that the car in all respects should have abs and from which it (the car) blocks the wheels. After discussing where the abs block should be with Alexei (avcube), I got under the hood and then a stupor. Where in his car there is a reservoir with a washer in mine ... emptiness. One long neck of the washer reservoir sticks out and that's it, at least the spare wheel has a place. where is it all the same … Photos of your engine compartment will be later, but for now plagiarism (forgive me ebey) from America. similar situations.

Bachek Is:

Where's the justice?))

Another know-how)) To be honest, this configuration is very interesting. I thought that the tanks are on three-liter engines, but on 2.2 they are hidden. But it turned out to be indifferent: somewhere on 3 liters there is none, but on 2.2 there is ...

How so, why did they hide the tank? :))

I don't see anything surprising

As I saw on eBay, on many dozens there is an empty space, but in the photo, when the engine is started, the abs control lamp is on. Perhaps the pressure modulator is sitting somewhere else? After all, it is he who is the most dimensional part of the abs.

if I don’t confuse it, there wasn’t abs on American women,
but about the tank - it’s also muddy here) I have a tank there, but it’s somehow not native ... that is, “Toyota” is written on it - but it obviously wasn’t there from the factory ... maybe with a Corolla or something like that.

It is in this empty place that the ABS unit should be, there is simply no more space for it physically.

And also, I noticed that in all the photos there is no plastic boot above the headlights (between the radiator grill, headlights and the front panel (TV). I wonder if this is a feature of American women or just because the pictures matched? That's the question =)
I'll go study the question =)

I don’t have this thing) although I’m European

"or xs")
I have a place for an abs block, but it's not there ... a friend has the same car - he doesn't even have a place for this block)

It also became interesting, revised it. Where there is an anther, somewhere not, perhaps it depended on the year of manufacture ... As for the abs, I wrote above. How can abs be on a car, but there is no modulator in that place? It turns out either the lamp is fake, or xs o_O?

By the way, yes. My from Germany — boot stands.

I see! ..
well, you see, I learned everything! and so there everyone has ABS in one place!

B

In general, I don’t have abs … a conventional dual-circuit brake system with a vacuum. Abs was along the way, but for some reason they cut it out. Why or because of what - xs

Come on, come on! .. then tell me what the search led to!

B
BackFire608 20.02.22

Yes, it doesn’t seem to skid with a sharp brake, but the wheels are blocked. We will keep searching...

MEGAPOLIS777 20.02.22

I'm certainly not sure though! I think that there is no tank because the engine is 2.2! and on 3.0 there is! apparently at 2.2 it is still somewhere because there are more places under the hood!
and abs can actually be in another place or it is not there ?!)

This is interesting. Where is your ABS unit?

Hi all! I have a 2.2 1994, v. and my barrel is in place (as in the 1st photo) + there is also ABS, and barrels like the 2nd photo (hidden) are on more recent years 1995-1996. + for twenty, etc., they are similar

Such a question, gentlemen: What kind of block is to the left of the battery? I do not have that.

The cruise control control unit is, or rather its actuator
