This is how a torpedo is replaced on a Toyota! — Toyota Vista, 1.8 liter, 1992
I am posting a small photo report on replacing a torpedo after flocking - I must admit, it was very cold outside. Thank you very much Artem and Vitka my friends! Flock is super, I'll tell you. The car immediately changed for the better. Yes, and for the price of constriction it would be expensive.
Now more detailed ...
Getting ready to parse the old torpedo:
The guys armed themselves with everything they needed and the work
began:
I had to suffer a lot with the steering wheel — I really didn’t want to shoot it!

and finally we remove it:
View of the insides after removing the torpedo:
Installed a new (pumped torpedo) wiring from the inside secured with ties to the body. There was another nuance - they wanted to install an adjustable steering column from the prominant that moves not only up and down but also towards itself and away from itself - but there the axis itself turned out to be short. - I had to abandon this idea.
In general view of the assembled new torpedo.
Joyful faces warming up from the cold!
