purchase history of the A-70. Excerpts from the BZ. — Toyota Supra, 2.0 liter, 1989
how it was:
February 26, 2007 was bought by the author supra.
"This girl previously belonged to Den70 after a fairly large investment in her, he gave her to Volokolamsk to spouses over 30 years old. What they did to her in a year probably could not have been done even by a schoolboy ...
we came to look at her and almost immediately decided to take it, but the worst was ahead of us...
We drove it during the day, but on bald tires on the new rig. It was pretty dumb. For some reason, there was immediately a feeling of softness and not just softness, but as if you were sailing on a ship that carried on the waves, as it turned out later :( problems rained down.) There were simply no racks - they were pressed in by pressing one finger and taking it out had to be pulled hard enough ...
it was worse with the brakes: the front right disc had three cracks (I’m not talking about the fact that all the discs were simply erased to zero, if not minus), the pads weren’t in such a bad condition I hadn’t seen them before, they were just on the handbrake was not provided for by the design of the "owners")) periodically also fell off the plug, the corrugation was torn and cracked in half, we had to stop and put it back in place. In the summer, she refused to start until she cools down, the starter relay and the starter were changed 2 times … I drove like that for half a year. Periodically, I don’t understand where the antifreeze was leaking from (it turned out that the radiator was full of holes and the pump was leaking) and oil was leaking (sump gasket and filter), I drove like that for half a year.
A couple of months later the turbines died. They took turbines from Alexander with 1G Kitty ... four thousand for 7-8 ... changed in one day ...
What we did in the summer:
brake discs + pads around the
rack around the
steering rod
radiator
air filter
welded on the corrugation at the outlet
got rid of the problem with the supra factory, put a button, so that it now starts directly with us, embedded the button into the panel to the left of the steering wheel, though I had to move the button for heating the rear window. " Record dated 12/19/2007.
I have a friend who wants one… Although now he feels good on Zvezdochka with 4E-FTE =))
A good car and engine, unfortunately few of them are left alive ... And now I know where the MA70 has been disappearing for the third year, the owner does not do anything with it and does not want to talk about selling it. The car was just abandoned on the side of the road.
nuuuu … I can argue)
but I won’t, I’ll try to bring it to mind then we’ll see))
one of mine already broke down, pounded, 100 km after buying Suprushka.

how much did your 1g-gte last, if it's not a secret?)
I'll take a closer look tomorrow. somewhere shortly before that, the turbines collapsed ...
