Impressions of the navigation program NAVITEL — Toyota Land Cruiser, 4.2 liter, 2007

Yesterday's trip to the monasteries allowed us to test the navigator and the NAVITEL program installed in it in the field.

In general, the program left a favorable impression.

Before the trip, he set the point where he was supposed to go. These were the geographical coordinates of Optina Pustyn. The navigator laid a route along the M3 highway through Sukhinichi and led along it until I turned onto a shorter road. For several minutes, a female voice told me that I had deviated from the route, but realizing the futility of my efforts, I nevertheless laid a new route.

I was pleased that even in small villages the road is perfectly written - with all the turns.

At the entrance to Kozelsk, the navigator tried to take me aside. As it turned out, the coordinates of Optina Pustyn, taken on the Internet, were erroneous.

The second point was to be the monastery in Shamordino. This time, I found the right place on the map. just jabbed a finger at it and clicked "Follow to the specified point." Navigation was successfully completed to the very gates of the monastery.

Interesting. that even in the small town of Sukhinichi there are signs. For example, I was surprised when the navigator duplicated the 30 km limit for me, set in front of a speed bump! Top class!

Now it is clear. that with this program you can travel to any corner of Russia. Thanks to the developers!

I always used Garmin on any device, like nibul it’s worth trying Navitel), if it’s not difficult, I would like to read your impressions about Kruzak how it is on the highway)

I can confirm that Navitel drives, it's a pity that there is no adequate version for Symbian ...

By the way, there in the settings there is an item pulling to the road. I removed it from automatic pulling up to 20 meters. It's just that when you steer off the road, the navigator tries to return the arrow to the road, and this is not convenient enough. And the maps can be edited by yourself. And convert them from Garmin to Navitel.

Oh how! About attraction, and in fact there is such a thing. I'll twist the settings) Thank you!

Navitel is primarily for motorists, and in some regions there are almost no roads. Nothing to wear)

It's right. In some places there are even small forest roads, but somewhere there is only a very general scheme.

But in any case, with such a program and cards, it’s not scary in any region of the Russian Federation. )

Navitel's maps have such garbage ... probably the map was compiled when there was a spill ... but on the other hand, there is no water there now, but does it happen there? so you need to show ... I went several times along such "water barriers" under the heart-rending cry of a girl that I went crazy, thank God, but only from the route :)
In general, the maps are different ... there are very detailed sections, but there are quite sketchy . For example, Nizhnevartovsk is quite accurately traced by Navitel, but Surgut (although it is larger and more famous) is almost not traced and there are many such places ...

Yesterday was a funny moment. I’m driving along a forest road, which I know both myself and the surroundings, because. more than once held various events in that place (both trophy raids and orienteering). So for the first time with the navigation of this food, I see water ahead on the map - like an overflowing stream. It's a normal swampy area. and for some reason it is marked on the map as water. Although the road goes through it) "floated" through it. I think those who would drive along this road for the first time would have strained)

On a laptop or PDA under Windows.

Where to put Ozi? On a laptop?

G
Geodeser 20.02.22

Navitel has the most detailed maps for the countryside. I testify, for I myself took part in their creation. Well, what Navitel does not have can always be found in OziExplorer by uploading the "general staff" 1:500 =) All sorts of winter roads, fords, old clearings will definitely be there.

I was just thinking about switching from harmin to novitel) well, now it’s generally obvious what to use.

In the navigator there is a project to draw on this resource a lot of homemade maps in the format. In Navitel format.

M
Miroslav32 20.02.22

Now I put Navitel 7, there is Kazakhstan and other regions. Everything is very detailed. In the fifth such cards I did not have.

ilyhakz 20.02.22

Just download detailed maps for each region, in Kazakhstan we have every region detailed to almost every lane and even steppe roads in many areas are included!

Navipilot. In the BZ described it.

What is the navigator model?

tewton 20.02.22

Each navigation system has strengths and weaknesses (more like countries). with a navitel I’ll go only where there are symbols in Latin (sad experience of using in Turkey and Greece) + glitches with POI ... we don’t have a better self-propelled gun for ozik at all ... garmin is strong in Africa, like aigou ... (they are specialists in asses) ... all sorts draw and hand-draw - this is for Moscow time, and ische with them. in fact, the basics of the map - once and miscalculated ... therefore ... we pull the general staff on the wheels, hook up external gps and without further ado we go - everywhere ...))
