Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Gornaya street from Komsomolskaya up. First, a couple of gullies, and then ... A fairy tale! Such a good lift. Mostly packed snow, but in some places there are small areas polished to ice. I stopped on the ice, and no matter how jeweler I played with the gas pedal, I could not move on the rise. I had to roll down to the rolled snow, where I started moving smoothly but surely. An intermediate conclusion for me is that you can’t stop on a very good ice slide even on spikes.
Let me remind you that I have rear-wheel drive and the complete absence of any electronic assistants.
It is also required for the purity of the experiment to have a clean rear-wheel drive without LSD and TRC on a fresh friction clutch (preferably, because I am interested in comparing it with Velcro, first of all, and then with spikes from another company). To exclude the influence of the gasket between the steering wheel and the seat, I am ready to give my Mark to another driver during the experiment.
PS At ten o'clock in the evening in that area I met only 2 cars, so we can talk about relative safety and that, in principle, we will not interfere with anyone there.
