The frozen snow did not bypass me, alas. It would seem that the bumper on the Prius is very soft and should have "played" when it collided with a block of snow, but, alas, it cracked instead. As they say, it's not so much painful as insulting.
I started thinking what to do. Bumper repair followed by painting in the nearest "garage" service I was counted at 4000r. At the same time, they immediately said that only half of the bumper would be painted. Pleasure seemed expensive. I didn’t consider buying a new bumper or even a dismantling one because the damage is not significant, and the winter has not really begun yet. By the way, offhand a new Taiwanese bumper costs 4000 again. The same is the used original.
As a result, I did the following - I removed the bumper (it turned out to be much easier to remove, by the way, than to put it back), washed it, dried it, degreased the broken place and began to glue it with a "cosmofen". It's not that it didn't work out at all, but it didn't work out the way I wanted. In addition, I glued a piece of plastic from a cut engine oil canister on the inside to, so to speak, stiffen it. I tried not to add beauty, but at least to insure the bumper from further damage at the broken point, which could lead to the fact that the piece would fall off completely. And then just change the bumper.
Closer to spring I will buy a touch-up pencil and paint over the "scar".
I looked, but this is not a skirt, body kit. The Prius and so the clearance is not high, to still put a body kit. Here you will definitely tear off along with the bumper, especially in winter.
