I'm back! or the return of the sub - logbook Toyota Camry 2008
A miracle happened — I found a normal price Subic, but there were two problems.
my old Hertz HX250 has already been released in a new modification! I got a little crazy, but I went to put it in my garage, taking Mr. asuharev as an assistant .
having disassembled and gutted the box, they quickly began to disassemble the car
- they removed the back seat
— removed the rear false panel, removed the amplifiers and the second false panel and got to the subwoofer with Conder.
- Disconnected the condor. unscrewed the body of the Subic and pulled it out into the light.
and here the fun began, because without it I would not have made such a post. but would be limited to a couple of enthusiastic phrases;)
it turned out to be very funny that the new subic did not fit into the body under the old one. due to the design of the sub, it rested against the back wall
began to rack their brains on how to put it in this case, and the decision came in 5-8 minutes to make a spacer ring. calling and specifying that people had never heard of spacer rings for a subwoofer, they took out a jigsaw, a piece of plywood and began to sculpt.
10 minutes later the issue was resolved creatively and Subic sat perfectly in a niche. they immediately decided to paint the plywood in black so that our "collective farm" was not visible;)
the second problem appeared instantly) the previous sub was recessed in the shape of the membrane, and the new one turned out to be convex along the edge and, when the outer cover was placed on it, rested against the mesh with the membrane! we thought about the new hemorrhoids and decided without further ado to make some kind of spacers on the ring)
it turned out scary, but convenient and kind of even reliable;)

Then they collected it in the reverse order, and lo and behold! Sub worked!
I go to enjoy the low frequencies to the fullest at last!
so that there are no questions about the pink-raspberry traces of paint, I’ll immediately make a reservation that they refreshed the engine compartment of one girl;)
I myself am not overjoyed until now ... as far as it turns out, you can get used to the presence of a subwoofer in the car
once, for about half an hour, we pulled in different directions until it clicked off))) my
native Russian three-story helped =))))
remove the seat, then unscrew the two bolts from the bottom, two bolts behind the plugs where the headrests … disconnect the stretch between the seat and the rear shelf. and take it easy
under the first sub volume was calculated in the SS.
well, since too much was tied together (amplifiers, false wall, case), I decided not to redo everything.
