All last winter I traveled at 17 radius on summer tires in slick performance)))) This time my friends persuaded me to change my shoes and even the rubber was fitted to me, though 14 radius)))) but for that it was winter. I really can hardly imagine how the kettle will look on such wheels, but as they say, we'll live until the weekend and see))) Wait for the photo by the weekend)))))
And then Saturday morning came, my friend and I met to change the shoes of my silent pursuer into slippers of size 14 but with a high rise. They came to my work for the wheels, took them from the warehouse, and then it started))) one wheel turned out to be of a different pattern, one needed a camera, and all together they asked for balancing and brand new shiny nuts for stamping disks)))) first we went to buy a camera and nuts, yes. like a wheel with a different pattern had to be changed to a suitable one, which lay with a friend as a spare tire. Only this friend and I had a great walk on the eve and he didn’t pick up the phone for a very long time))) Having bought a camera and nuts — 1000 rubles for everything, we started ringing our right-handed fellow and demanding a wheel exchange, and our perseverance was rewarded. Having completed the software exchange, SLIDING to the tire shop, where they put the camera, carried out a general balancing with an indication of where which wheel is better to put. issue price 500r But the tire worker convincingly asked us not to do this))) but it’s better to ride the bus until spring))) since they were difficult to balance, there was a small hernia on one wheel, and one was torn along the disk, so to speak. but we were determined and brave! Returning to my work, they began to change their shoes. The first test was unscrewing the old wheels, there was such a feeling. that they were tightened with a three-meter lever, but we managed. The first wheel stood like a glove (rear right). when I lowered the jack, I was horrified … the difference between 14 and 17 radius was clearly visible)))) Having hardly unscrewed the front right wheel, I found that the 14 radius did not want to lick on the studs at all! brake disk,
I'm thinking maybe for the winter of 14 radius to find "flicks", like Micah's on a penny, or paint the rubber white so that the caps are counted and seem larger))

In general, the winter has passed and thank God. I survived the second winter on summer tires)) But now my head doesn’t hurt that I need to spend money on re-shoes or even worse on rubber)))) I, unfortunately, could not put 14 wheels on my TEA, right. as they were not cast, and the caliper prevented them from being dressed, so that my friends proved by my bitter experience that the radius of stamped discs is not suitable for Chai 14. Be carefull!
