7M Tune summer 2010 — logbook Toyota Supra 1989
A little about the concept of tuning in-line 6-cylinder engines made by TOYOTA, such as 7M and 2JZ, both 3000 cc. Therefore, we are very grateful in terms of bestowal.
Everyone knows that the 2JZ is a very strong engine, ready to stock the piston to hold 600+ hp. 7M motor is not so strong but 400+ is quite, provided that it was properly assembled and well maintained, and later tuned)
Therefore, the concept is as simple as 2 fingers)
- Big turbine (I had a hybrid assembled in Turbo lab ) the compressor part is large, the turbine part, too, but it is air-polluted by A / R ohm, because twist 7M above 6.5 thousand revolutions, I was not going to)

— Well, ensuring that it all works, intake-exhaust, new motor wiring, clutch, suspension (minor interventions).
Further, the question of tuning remains very subtle and open. I was lucky, my good friend is just building and tuning 500+ strong Supra. there were no problems with this.
At the exit, we get a real * TURBO car, but still quite urban.
* Why real? Because in stock on a 7M turbine engine, engineers emitted a large volume, which they didn’t do very well, because. the car was very sluggish at the top, and not as early as a larger engine
