Installed electric fans from Cefiro A32 instead of regular cooling - Toyota Chaser, 2.5 liter, 1998

Recently there was an unpleasant moment, I knocked out a little ahead of the going RAV-4. As it turned out, there was a girl behind the wheel and someone cut her a little. So she was frightened with all her strength on the brakes, the result - Rafik's spare wheel casing cracked a little, and for me - the hood, radiator and fan retired. What to do, with whom it does not happen. The car at the service station, and at the same time decided to take the opportunity and replace the regular cooling on the viscous coupling with electric. A fan unit from Cefiro was purchased and installed, in size it is almost the same as the Chayzer radiator. I also bought a temperature sensor to turn on the fans from the GS300. It is identical to my native one, with the exception of the response temperature - 88 instead of 98. It was impossible to leave the native one, since the temperature of turning on the fans would be maximum, which is not acceptable, after all, the native sensor went precisely to the emergency activation of an additional small fan at a temperature close to boiling. As a result: a couple of hours of work and fuss with the wiring connection and everything is installed. The collective farm is practically invisible.

write in more detail, instead of a regular sensor, you stuck it from the zhs300, you attached the standard wiring to turn on a small fan to the valves from the cefiro, did I understand correctly? I just know that usually a separate block is placed on the valve, such as a billion or strongman, so that it drives the rotation speed. and here it turns out almost a factory version?

Hey! Does the sensor close the fan directly or through a relay?

ah, well, I kinda get it. I also wanted to plug in an electric one, but I didn’t want to bother separately with a fan speed control unit. and here is almost a regular connection. You don’t know the number of the temperature sensor with zhs300 so that you can order it?
it turns out that the valves do not spin until the temperature is 88 degrees, then they turn on at full capacity? and so they will turn on and off, depending on the temperature. and when the air conditioner is on, the valves turn on at low speed, even if the temperature is less than 88 degrees, did I understand correctly?

Fans connected to native wiring, which went to a small fan. There, power is also supplied from the inclusion of the Conder. Whether it goes through the relay or not, I don't know. It just turned out to be almost a regular connection. Low speed is activated when the conder is turned on. When turned on from the temperature sensor, they are twisted to the fullest. Paralleled both fans.

Yes exactly.

what engine is the sensor from? 2zhz-ge vvti?

Yes everything is correct. I can't tell you the number, I got it from the store. The only thing to consider is that there are two types of sensors, normally closed and normally open. We have the first option, that is, when the car is cold, the contacts in the sensor are closed. A kind of protection - if you remove the chip from the sensor or open circuit - the fans turn on.

Of course, no offense, the collective farm agrees. But the photo was taken immediately after installation, in haste, so to speak. Now everything is in order.

Hello. saw the article. not bad... but fixing the fan shroud to ziptime... smells like a collective farm... no offense...

Do you remember the sensor number?

Thanks))

Yes, as a native, unfortunately I will not tell you the number. You twist the wires in two, one pair is minus, the other is plus, I don’t remember the colors, it was a long time ago, but I picked them up in turn until they earned the maximum. You can’t burn anything there if you don’t connect it like that.

Did the sensor from the GS300 screw in like a native? Can you tell me the catalog number? =) And the question of connection, from each broom comes out 4 wires, what did you connect to where?)
