The choice of floor mats — Toyota Prius, 1.5 liter, 2005
I got the Prius with a standard set of interior floor mats. At the same time, the driver's mat was significantly worn under the heel, the rear ones generally differed slightly from each other in texture and color. In addition, the driver's carpet was worn with some kind of greenish stain, which was not washed off by any means.
There was no cover in the trunk at all. In order not to pollute the pile at all, I temporarily bought such a rubberized mesh-litter in Auchan, which saved me from severe pollution. And although there was not much dirt in the spring-summer, by winter I took care of finding a cover in the trunk. In addition, he made an unsuccessful attempt to wash the salon carpets in a washing machine. In fact, the carpets washed great. But suitability became zero - they swung around the edges, and the reverse side of the rugs cracked.
In general, I began to look for options in the trunk and in the cabin.
I really wanted to put the original, albeit used, velor carpet in the trunk. The price from sellers of used Prius'ov turned out to be biting - about 3000 rubles per carpet. A new one on exist is not cheap - about 7,000 rubles and delivery from 15 to 40 days.
I also considered options with polyurethane. Boo. the original from the sellers is similar to the pile. New at exist with a 40 day expiration date. Novline feeds breakfast, there is nothing available.
At the priusforum it was advised to put a carpet from Kalina. Looked, applied. It's very collective farm - only to carry manure.
As a result, I acquired a universal cover for the trunk in the car market. It is cut to the size of the trunk, there are sides in the middle so that the water does not spill. Generally well done. It costs 980 rubles. True, cutting to size did not work out well. It was possible to drown in the direction of the rear seat, cutting out the corners for the hinges. It turned out, in addition to everything else, that the trunk pockets are different in size and this was noticed after the carpet was evenly trimmed. In the end, it turned out the way it did. But from the rest of the coating came out a jumper on the rear tunnel
With floor mats the same canoe. Finding anything on the left hand drive proved to be difficult. There was an option to order rugs from a special carpet with a rubber backing in a local studio, which at one time sewed covers for me. It would have turned out very budget (500-700 rubles), and they do it with high quality. But the rugs have one big minus - very thin. As a result, they must be fastened with Velcro on almost all surfaces so that they do not slip and collect.
I did not want to install polyurethane troughs categorically. I don't like mud and dirt under my feet. Although Weathertech's polyurethane floor mats look awesome. But they cost the same even in America.
I didn’t buy combined universal rugs (pile on rubber) - the reviews are negative, although, in theory, it should absorb dirt and water well and, at the same time, not let it all through to the floor.
I did not find popular 3D carpets in my city. Rather, there were two Sotra rear mats on the car market, but there was uncertainty with the dimensions, there were no front ones at all, and the durability of such mats made me doubt - in fact, an ordinary polyurethane bath with a pile coating. It seemed to me that the spraying would be erased very quickly.
For a long time I was looking for the catalog numbers of the original pile rugs. exist offered a variety of prices - up to 12 thousand rubles. Finally, there were carpets with the number PZ410-G0351-DA and a delivery time of 5 days, which were ordered for 2500 rubles. Waiting sir…
