new turbo — logbook Toyota Starlet 1997

   Toyota Starlet 13 1997

first I want to say a huge thank you to those people who regularly monitor my bortovik and at the same time do not forget to put it all up for discussion with unregistered users, thank you!)))
I decided on this ... I changed my orientation so to speak ... yes, nowadays it’s not fashionable… that’s why I sat and checked, thanks to Vitalik for the mega manual on calculating the comparability of the turbine and the motor… I honestly read, drew conclusions, then tried to calculate all this, several sleepless lunches and dinners were spent on this and in the end I bought it… yes, this is certainly not a rubber woman and not a tactician in chess...it's just a new turbine!
Bearing in mind the change in orientation, I, of course, suggested the direction of the project, because there wasn’t much light on the dredge on the bursting head, and the audience there was too charged only for banter and victory, so I went back to sprints ... yes, it all started a long time ago, more back in the 90s)))) in fact, then I still had a Russian stool Vaz 21099i and, miraculously for myself, and perhaps for the rest, it drove quite confidently in my hands ... well, let's not go far from the topic ...
it was decided to replace the turbine with a smaller size so that it blows over a wide range, well, not practically from scratch, but from 2300 it’s necessary ... the old GT2871 was too big and late, so GT2854 was purchased ... but as one knowledgeable person said who always calculates turbines for a given car , this turbo has a maximum potential of 200 hp. I think on the ring and that's enough!
she bolts up under the old flanges, collectors and other crap))))

never understood the fashion to put big turbines. Yes, and drag racing is also a dubious pleasure in my opinion)

take 2, camera-motor-shoot. The graph shown on the main page - on which turbo was it measured?

now there is a small 2854 pressure and 1.45 bar remains (it was not possible to raise it due to leaks in the roofing felts in the exhaust manifold, the flange cracked), so for now I’m sick at 1.45 bar ... the sensations are the same as before ... acceleration suits me

Mish, and the graph from the stand is for which of the turbines?
I saw you tweaked it a bit - how does it feel?

thanks

double 2! camera, engine… 1.3 turbo))))
costs a small 2854 at 1.2 bar 246 forces issued, one literate person (rotating in the circles of srakers) claimed that it’s simply not realistic to remove more than 200 bald people from this device, as a result, by 1.2 bars 246 forces! I think at 1.5 bar about 290-300 forces
