Apexi springs — logbook Toyota Carina ED 1993
"Prepare the sleigh in summer and the cart in winter"
Considered lowering options for everyday city driving:
— Coilovers
— Height-adjustable struts — Stiffer than stock struts
, with lowered springs
The first ones are too tough, the second ones are relatively non-budgetary. I settled on the third option. According to reviews, the best option is Kayaba New SR Special struts and RS-R Ti2000 springs .
I changed the racks only in the spring, I have not thought about lowering yet. I chose Bilstein B4 gas-oil ones, they are a little tougher than stock, I am completely satisfied with them and decided not to touch them for now. According to the reviews of knowledgeable people, they normally tolerate an underestimation of up to 30mm without shortening the stem. Maybe later I will switch to Kayaba.
I didn't come across RS-R springs, but I did come across red Apexi at a good price straight from Japan. They removed them from the front-wheel drive Curren on MacPherson, the only question is their rigidity and understatement. If anyone has come across such or tell me where to look at the catalog (numbers in the photo), please share. I think an understatement in the region of 30mm, plus or minus.
Well, we are waiting for spring, when they seem to be on the car. The exterior will almost completely take on a complete look. Once again, I internally approved the choice of a small native body kit, with an understatement, this is important. I promise a photo session
Spare parts Stock racks with springs TI2000 JAPANPARTSI can imagine how it will stand on such a kit on 17 rollers! her excavator will not turn over =)
morally ready for shaking) they scared me with a low profile - I put the seeds, got ready to shake the teeth, drove a kilometer or two and nothing. A little tougher yes, but not on the rink.
ps grader services. inexpensive. payment by body kit)
Bet now! And then it’s boring for me to cling everything with one belly))) But seriously, well done! After lowering any car looks much better. PS There are also new sr kayabs, good racks. Just keep in mind, shaking with springs will be brutal, but this is a price for handling and appearance.
I decided to try to ride these, our roads are slowly rolling up. so they are too hard, is there infa? thanks for the positive feedback.
+1 springs are always good, though about the rigidity of these - isn't it too much?
wheelbarrow as a whole test +++
yes, I can’t wait myself, I decided to change it before changing shoes together with minor repairs (links, bushings), immediately put a spacer with spacers and drive it into collapse. the weather doesn't allow it.
Have you installed springs yet? I want to see it already. But I can’t lower my Fielder, it’s too late to order, and I haven’t found a suitable option for springs and struts.
Good afternoon, that all this pleasure cost you and you don’t know on vista sv41 you can pick up something so low?
Thank you anyway! If it works out, I’ll probably buy it, for the price that I offered))) It’s just that it’s not so easy to find a kit for a poppy, with a deficit in the front, but as I understand it, everyone has the same back.
oh, I found something to ask, I'll try to remember) the front ones on the poppy were underestimated very decently, 4 centimeters, no less. there were no complaints about taxiing and stiffness, there was a downed suspension. but there the brace and low profile did the trick. but the rear ones were a bit high, I wanted to replace them with something like a turbojet engine or pilnut)
