Doesn't want to start — logbook Toyota Carina 1989
The vaunted mono-injection refused to start today. On the thermometer -29. The starter spins quite briskly for such a temperature, it seems to even seize in some pots, but it lacks a little before it starts. I changed the spark plugs twice, to no avail. The result is one (!) candle is filled, the car will not start. I unscrewed everything - the land, I warm the battery. Winter is terrible. Change BB wires.
A small addition: as it turned out, the candles no longer throw oil. Before filling, they were clean and dry.
And one more addition: the candles that I drove yesterday were normal in principle, but obviously not new. One of them just had a bent contact - this did not always have a spark. How did he bend over ... a question from the series how yesterday the BB-wire was torn out of the well. Unclear.
