Japanese whims - Toyota Land Cruiser, 4.2 liter, 1999

I had a Mitsubishi (Jeep) Pajero 3 liter 97th year of age. I didn’t have time to check this miracle for the vagaries of these, but subsequent cars showed this heresy ...

And it was like this...

Just recently I forgot to warm up the car, well, as I forgot, I didn’t warm up, -20 degrees is not a hindrance, given the fact of an easy start, after 25 hours of standing in the cold -40.
At night the machine froze, but stood. I went to start it, I watch the sensor shows -18.
Well, I think, bullshit, I'll go.
I turned the key, I realized that I had to stand here until my friend rolled up. I waited, the car started up every now and then, it did not start. As a result, the battery finally died and did not even twist.
Well, I think, right now, tov will come, let's light up, and I'll go to do great and significant things.
I waited about 40 minutes. A friend arrived. I say: "I'll show you what the battery says" - falling on a dead sound in order to show the seriousness of the situation.
He turned the key, and she took it and started up with half a turn.
They neighed, and parted ...

Then I remembered my 2nd car, the Corolla (I rarely drive it). There was the same crap, only the frost was worse than -25.

So the question is, what kind of whims?

The other day was the same. When the key is turned, the starter only clicks. Ten times, and all to no avail. I smoked this business, opened the door and, without getting into the car, turned the key. Wound up with half a kick. Nickels contact after washing iced up.

Another case. When picking up speed in the front left hub, the bronze bushing of the hub was torn off and the sound of a working tri-brush plus vibration was inflated. It crackled for two days and disappeared into oblivion.
