Installation Prology MDN-2410 — Toyota Corolla Spacio, 1.6 liter, 1999
When I started trying on the radio after purchase, I immediately did not like a bunch of electrical tape and extra wires left over from the previous owner. I was driving calmly yesterday and caught myself thinking that I was driving in silence - no radio, no navigator comments, but only a strange crackle. I thought it was the panel, but this had never happened before, it turned out that the speaker wiring was shorted. I decided to go to the garage in the morning with a soldering iron)
Legacy...
I threw a cover from the trunk into place and the entire working space, so as not to drip with tin or flux.
A piece of garage sheathing perfectly played the role of a stand)
Started with Japanese hi-tech.
Trimmed off the excess
The Japanese obviously did not try (.
At least I guessed to wind the wires into a break in the insulation
Took off all the tape. I wanted to pull the terminals out of the connector, it didn’t work out, I had to solder the cut wires in order to put on heat shrink ... not with electrical tape again.
Walked with a lighter
Both connectors
Trying
Radio with non-switchable safety driving mode - the video only works when the handbrake is pulled up. We make a snag, connect the parking wire to ground through the connector
The photo shows that the panel sticks out a little, the frame is a little in the way.
fixed
Very satisfied )
