New brakes — logbook Toyota Chaser 1997

   Toyota Chaser 25 1997

To replace the 2-piston Turik cast iron, I brought myself mega-light 4-piston brakes from the GTR-32 :)

and what is not selsior's? in your case (x100) there are minimal alterations ... how is it redone here?

join the question. as far as I know from the gtra, the brakes won’t get up so easily, you’ll have to at least invent spacers

Oh yes, they are the most, BNR32 brakes. Sekas.

The brakes are excellent, but as you have already noticed, you will have to think something with the installation, but 4-piston ones from Celsior get up with a minimum of a collective farm ...

what about the spacer drawing? something to tell me that it will not be so easy to sculpt all this ... but according to Selsior's - there is no such horror about which you wrote, Vadim vame will confirm ...

I’ll answer why not from Celsior :) I
studied this issue on the TourerV.ru profile forum, everything
seems to be simple, but there are stones!
1-for the machine to get up without problems, you need to sharpen it a little in the place where the brake fluid passes, which is not buzzing! since sharpening there is not enough and you can then pay for it! You also need to slightly trim the steering wheel tip bolt. traction!
2 — regular casting does not get up to 16, as you need to take wheels with a long overhang!
to put the brakes from GTR
1 - you need to grind a spacer from the turner and that's it :)

well, xs, I read a detailed report about the installation of Celsior :) at what almost our Krasnoyarsk citizen described everything in detail.
there is a drawing of a spacer, current from 4 vd, and there the hub is a little different, although I have a hub with 2 vd in my garage, you just need to put the Turikovsky rotor on it and go to a sober turner :)

eh, you didn't read the report you needed. 1 person began to set Celsior's brakes incorrectly and everyone began to repeat his mistakes, sharpen calipers, cut steering tips.
everything is much easier to do there, you only need spacers, which are made from any old ball joints and slightly bore the caliper mounting ear. the first time I set it up with a friend, they killed 3 hours due to the lack of the right tool. Now I would probably put it in an hour with smoke breaks.
Well, what to write now, the brakes from Skye were bought and installed) in any case, it’s also a great option

on the rotor — I’m already scared what kind of spacer it will turn out to be…because the plane of contact of the rotor to the hub is a little further at the kettle than on the rock…it’s a lot to cut, endure, but from good disks will not go anywhere, or a collective farm with spacers, which is not good

I'm looking forward to how it looks on 100x bodies. I have the same ones myself ...
bp - can you answer people? otherwise, as if he himself had already guessed by chance that you were answering yourself ...

Al-exe, everything is much simpler there! one spacer, without turning with a file, spacers for ball joints, etc. :)
PS: in the evening I will add a photo of the spacer and how the machine from Skye stands on the brand :)

as I understand it, the spacer is sharpened under the rotors, different rotors (vishka, vegetable, sky) are different spacers.

I looked closely and see … exactly 4VD … Stas has already asked a hundred and five hundred times about spacers and brakes in general before purchasing them.
From 4 HP will not work! so count from scratch! As I do it, I’ll either lay out a drawing (it’s better for the club) or two sets

This is a photo of Stas, I don’t remember exactly, but he has 4 hp! and he said that the front spacers would not fit :(
although the pancake needs to be clarified again :)

there are some spacers in the photo ... or not yours?
