Trunk torsion bars - 2 - Toyota Soarer, 4.0 liter, 1986
Today I carefully examined the structure and even took a picture. No adjustments are seen.
At the same time, I realized that some of my plans, if they are realized, are too high a price, which I will not accept. Well, more on that later.
While I smoke tourervi forums for the installation of shock absorbers, so as not to step on a rake that is already known to everyone.
Well, until I got it all that deep. I just decide on my Wishlist, and some of them conflict with each other :)
...and this is at the stage of wanting :)))
Yeah, it's always like this in tuning ... everything depends on the absence of some kind of unusual drill or a tricky screw, which it's not even clear where to look :)
for amortika you just need to take Bobby and look at the place. the trunk curtains themselves are located exactly above the arches, so there will be no simple solution.
... at least take it and do full automation.
… but I wanted to do something completely different, but without all this depreciation fuss, nothing will come of it. almost vicious circle
It turns out that they almost go through the very center of the shelf.
It’s easier in the crown - they are as deep as possible (toward the back) and practically do not interfere there, although sometimes you want to make a cover on the racks (and some do).
I suspect that in your case, it will come to sawing the hooks, sawing a hole into the compartment to the rack, and sticking the shock absorber there and then attaching it to the back (more precisely, to the edge of the rib). Either the torsion bar is cut off, bent, and the force through it goes to the shock absorber, which rests on the floor or on the back.
Yes, thanks, I saw how it was implemented on the 30th. there is more space in height, so the arch does not interfere. and the impression is that the curtains are located closer to the center than 20.
where to look for a tricky bolt? )) the stump is clear — at the turner)
I can take a picture of how I did it in the 30k Amorth in the trunk. basically stock.
to be honest, by and large, one more legal body in perfect condition would be enough for me ... "the pilot has one dream" ...;)
