During the month of my absence, little happened to the Corolla. The most important thing I did was to prepare the car for the winter, but bad luck, there is no winter in Astrakhan. )

For the first time in my 23 years, I see that in December the thermometer did not fall below 2 degrees.
And now the main question: "What for I threw out 18,000 to prepare for the winter?". )
With this money, I:
1) purchased and immediately changed the tires. I was looking for a suitable one for a very long time and decided to stop at Yokohama Velcro.
It turned out to be one of the most expensive, but I do not regret it, after all, the integrity of my corolla and the safety of the people in it depend on it. By the way, I thought for a long time between Yokohama and Bridgestone, but the first tread was visually more reliable. )
Price per wheel - 3600 rubles, Tire service - 600 rubles.
2) Changed the oil.
Filled again with the original synthetics.
On the old drive exactly 8200 km. I just didn’t want to change the oil and go to services in the cold, so I changed it a little earlier than expected. And the old oil was already blacker than the night. Oil price - 2600 rubles, Original oil filter - 600 rubles, replacement - 300 rubles.
3) Well, on the little things I bought things that may come in handy in the winter. This is a couple of anti-freeze canisters, wipers, etc. etc.
Now I sit and think: what for I did all this. Forecasters promised anomalous cold, but it turns out to be anomalous heat. Astrakhan will meet the New Year with a positive temperature, with a maximum of rain. )
Very often over the past month there have been heavy fogs and slippery roads, but where is the snow? )
It used to be something different in the month of December.
100% in January there will be so much snow that you won’t want to go outside. )
