Well, what can I say ... it’s better not to drive into snowdrifts on summer tires))) they pulled it out only with the help of a KAMAZ.))

Completely agree with the first statement! ! ! =)
And you have a lesson for the future! =)

PS I myself got into this, so now if the "shoes" are out of season I try to be prudent! And on the "nine" along the way "there was a cool type, since ZHYP decided to pull it out. . .

To be honest, very few people turn everything on before they have already arrived. But as they say, it's already too late. Your lowering is turned on by turning the handle 90 degrees from H4 to L4, not such a difference with the UAZ, but there are still locks - 2 buttons to the right of this handle. If the car is no longer moving, then spinning the wheels, especially with toothy tires, is only worse - sit deeper.
When all locks are enabled on your Prado, both rear wheels spin, and one of the front wheels may not spin. There is no lock in the front diff. The front differential lock is set separately, as a rule, in a continuous bridge by those who specially prepare the car for trophy raids, but this is a separate issue. When the front diff is locked, the car starts to obey the steering wheel much worse, because. both front wheels spin the same way.

UAZ was))) there it was easier to turn on the lowered one and that's it)) and then I got stuck. When the locks are on, don't 4 wheels spin?

Is this your first off-road vehicle, have you had off-road experience before? But judging by the description, your car is very well equipped for off-road use. I suspect that you did not use all the off-road stray - locking the center, rear differential and lowering. If even in this case it is impossible to leave (3 wheels are exactly rowing), then you need to dig in, and all the wheels in the direction of the intended exit - as a rule, this is back. Well, on my own behalf, I can recommend prefabricated anti-bux trucks. When I had a Sorento, the car was also not easy, but with a fairly simple transmission - with a clutch and without a rear differential lock, I often caught diagonals in the snow - only a shovel and these Antibuks tracks helped - I dug out and always drove out myself, alone, without outside help. And drunks need to be handed over to the appropriate authorities, otherwise they will beat someone else. There is no head.

that's for sure) appropriate shoes are needed. now hack 7-ka and learned to use all sorts of stray with blocking a lot of snowdrifts)) and rushing like a tank.))

Clever things write bstallion.
When I rode a Honda element myself, I thought that I had a jeep), until I heard that I had 2 wheels spinning at best)
Now I understand what blocking and lowered are not by hearsay, I even studied the system of the differential, to at least imagine.
There is no rear axle lock on 120, 150 has a plus in this regard!
As for the specific case, I have an AT-shka and after the new year I decided with a friend (he works together, he has a brand new chiron on Velcro) to drive into a snowdrift at work, and what do you think? I got stuck in front of the whole office in a parking lot in a snowdrift (
That's how it happens, the rubber is for its intended purpose, it decides! The car wants to go, it stopped. All the writing is gone ...
