Symmetry of the taillights, or removal of the rear PTF filter - Toyota Corolla, 1.6 liter, 2008
Initially did not like that the rear lights are not symmetrical, one rear PTF and one reverse.
I decided to make a symmetry according to the reports of many. He took off the taillight, pulled out the reflector and picked out the filter. I removed the reflector for about an hour, but it was worth it.
In order not to lose the rear PTF, because it is sometimes very necessary on the track changed the light bulb. I didn’t find such red ones, I put it in orange, in conditions of poor visibility, the most important thing is to note the car’s ass)) I plan to paint it with a special red varnish for light bulbs.
I want to do the same for myself. )) hands do not reach)
the first photo is familiar =)
I also pick cars for others, but as they say, I'm a shoemaker without boots! ! !))))
the reflector just needs to be broken out so that there is a second reverse and the symmetry of the headlights. But right now I have an orange bulb there, and put a halogen in reverse
And I put myself "Casp 173078L Lantern left inner" from EXIST.RU for 1350 rubles.
And changed the bulbs to xenon.
buddy, I didn’t understand a damn thing, I apologize for importunity:
1. You removed the filter
2. Put an orange bulb in the left headlight
3. Started wiring to turn on the second reversing light.
Bottom line: turn on the reverse - the right light is white, the left is orange? How did you connect the whole thing if, when you turn on the rear PTF, it does not turn on the right reverse gear too, if they are connected?
Or is it just done for the symmetrical look of the car, and not for functionality?
