red hood - Toyota Carina E, 2.0 liter, 1996

It so happened that during the disassembly of the hood there was no color and I had to take the darkest (red)
one, I drove with it for exactly a year. on the native color and now the red hood is removed, the old broken one again stands in its rightful place (I hope for the last time)
The hood was matted, the primer was applied.

then with 600 sandpaper I removed all unnecessary and the first layers.

ps; Many thanks to Avdyukhin A.A. for his help in carrying out the work and for providing a completely free corner in his garage =)

Well, you’ll finish everything and get together) I’ll also glue my face with carbon fiber)

Thank you! Until it dries! Now I’ll go and put 2-3 more layers. It’s a pity that I didn’t get on the drive on Wednesday.

Wax won't do much. Try 3M abrasive. Please check with sellers for details. And about the tightness, if you contact me, I'll try to help

And what is better? Some kind of abrasive first, and then wax for shine?

Try to polish by the way, the shine will appear, it will not be so noticeable *according to my own experience*
