Brakes failed - Toyota Camry, 2.2L, 1995

Friends ... a sad story happened to me today ... I had to ride the subway all day

In general, in the morning I got into the car, I leave the yard. food in the area 40-50 speed. I want to turn, I press the brake pedal a little. I press a little harder - and bam! the pedal fails. and the car does not slow down ... I managed to react and go straight on to the side of the road, since there were no cars nearby. well, and the handbrake (which does not particularly block the wheels) stopped ... then he carefully made a circle around the house, parked the car. brakes all leaked out ...

The hose broke on the hike ...
Or maybe something else, maybe someone faced a similar problem? ..

PS: it's good that it's not on the Moscow or highway ...

Mileage: 344,800 km

A hose rupture if the car is not new is a common story.
The hoses must be changed. From old age, they dry out and begin to crack.
In the Soviet era of total shortages, we wrapped new brake hoses with electrical tape, which doubled their lifespan.
