Well, now I’ll probably start in order, I just lost my thoughts, but I think I’ll get together!
On the 7th, when all normal people are sitting at the table and eating pies, I took gloves, solvent, kerosene, all sorts of bottles, rags and moved into my friend's paint box, minus outside (before that time it was plus 7 and on New Year's Eve it rained ), the cold is not dog-like, but unpleasant and, accordingly, paired with Dimarik478, since I myself don’t really drag (Avtodor finished :)!
They put it in the pit and once again started sorting out what most likely (still in question) has never been touched. They removed the head, Dima dried out the whole thing, changed all the rubber bands, even under the nozzles and dried it again (this is a hemorrhoid without a special tool), washed accordingly, by the way, for fans of zero-resistance filters, in the intake manifold with a standard and periodically changed filter, there was literally a slurry of sand, which accordingly enters the cylinders!
Then it’s down to the bottom, there’s nothing particularly interesting here, we dismantled the bottom (here I twisted) both beams (I successfully dropped one on Dima’s head, SORRY) the pan and ... the question is, should there be an oil softener on the 4-AFE engine, it wasn’t there and it was a little tense about the question that rose higher - that is, was anyone previously in the engine or not? In fact, there is nothing complicated, but I myself would not have done it (I'm talking about repairs in general) without a book and it would probably have taken me a week or even more!
I’ll write again, since everything was filmed without a collective farm, I painted the thermal screen from the manifold and the valve cover with a white mat, visually I really liked it, now a little touch up on the top and beauty under the hood
ps The timing belt was not changed due to the fact that they could not remove the crankshaft pulley, or most likely time (or rather its loss) and fatigue played a greater role!
The car started up safely the third time, it didn’t smoke, although it was expected that when washing, there was a lot of kerosene left and now it’s running in!
Fuf nuu coped like everything, I will add it over time!
And most importantly, this whole thing has not been washed, which is bad, so I'll put down this next weekend!
ps Passed 500km, the oil level, nothing has changed, but I'm not revving yet, I'm waiting for 1000km, we'll see!
