There is no navigation, for a simple reason - the maps change and it is more difficult to change the program on a stationary navigator than on a regular one, especially since I have Google maps on my mobile.

Is there navigation? I just saw cars that still have an extra on the steering wheel. navigation buttons - such as map, etc., are located in the upper right, just where you have empty.

my friends who traveled to Russia also say that Navi only shows the direction.
And for example, I understand electronics and computers only in German, because I learned everything here in Germany and I don’t understand many terms in Russian. It’s the same with cars. It’s hard for me to explain in Russian what is called (in the interior) and with I know the technical side in two languages.

The European disc does not fit the Japanese woman :( And so far no one has been able to adapt the European one to the right-hand drive. Perhaps the largest cities of Russia can be found on the European Prius - but not in Russian - this is so, purely for Europeans, so that they can go to Russia ... Well, why you need navigation in English, for example, it's inconvenient, even if you know the language ... Translating street names into English to find the right street is tough! I looked at the coverage there on this site - mostly only Moscow, St. Petersburg, and the very south near Novorossiysk, but from the pictures of Toyota navigation systems offered on the site - I did not recognize mine ...

Xenon, bluetooth, too, there are foglights. And look, I just found
www.toyota-mapupdates.eu/ there they sell maps, there is also Russia. I don’t drag in English. But you can just take the disk number and look in the internet for a free option , maybe someone already has. On Tuesday I will go to the annual inspection and there I will ask the master in which system the navigation works and which discs are suitable. Tomorrow we have a day off, the German trinity.

For bi-xenon, foglights, a rear-view camera (by the way, I forgot how to drive without it, you get used to the good, I want to change to a Camry now - and this is very scary that there is no camera in it), 16 radius discs, cruise control, a little -a slightly higher consumption (I did not delve into the details somehow, I may be wrong, but it seems that the top-end configurations squeeze out a little more due to another firmware of the brain). It seems that I forgot something else ... Maybe bluetooth ?!

For the same reason, I didn’t order the navigation, so as not to steal. We have them already for 70 Euros and why overpay one and a half pieces?

For a 20 Prius, a navigation disk. Try it, but there is more than 5GB.

By the way, Mirage, that is, the owner of this very hybrids.ru I know personally, there was talk, and on this topic too - I also burned at one time with regular navigation ... Now I already have 2 PDAs with navigation - and I'm not worried :)

First read the links to drom.ru, which I gave - everything is popularly stated there, why it is not as easy as it seems. Everyone who has not come across the question begins to say that it is elementary to do it. I also put forward similar assumptions before ...
And the disk is pumped - if my memory serves me, then without it some of the functions do not work ... It costs money - that's why the ferrymen love to poke it ...

No navigation disc for 20 Prius for Russia. I have for Japan - what to do next?))

theoretically - replace the file with the map of japan on the image with the map of moscow. the question is in implementation :) but for some reason people from russia are pumping discs with Japanese cards - I don't know why, it is quite possible what exactly is behind this ...

k
katzo 04.12.20

See my answer. On hybrids.ru the disc is either Japanese, or European, or American - I don't remember exactly ...

I gave you a link, download and see my disc for Russia, and it opens through alcohol120.

There is no disc for Russia under the Prius. At least under the Japanese Prius. If you find where - I will be insanely grateful for the link :)

I will not argue, but I think that it makes sense to try all Toyota Navi disks. for example, this torrents.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?t=799987

why doesn't it work? insert a disc with the cards you want - and voila!

k
katzo 04.12.20

On a more complete set - there is. But it doesn't work in Russia.

k
katzo 04.12.20

If I'm not mistaken, in theory there is still no bi-xenon, fog lights, heated mirrors, electronic seat / steering wheel adjustment (which does not exist on Japanese priuses at all), an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, a remote control for the garage, that's it, offhand. Although I am not strong in European equipment, I am almost sure that for the most part I was not mistaken;)

I'll wait, next year I will probably change the car, read the reviews, maybe I'll join you! :-)))

As I understand it, the official sale of the Prius will begin in Russia this summer, which means the menu will be in Russian.

There is no Russian language! :-)))
