Oil seal replacement — logbook Toyota Sprinter Trueno 1987

There was always a little oil in the well on the armored wire and on the candle in the first cylinder. The reason is clear - the gland between the cover and the well, but if you change everything like that. I bought it, drove to a friend at the service station, removed the cover. They pulled out the old ones by slightly bending the protrusions holding them, inserted new ones, and bent them. Pleased with the state of the engine. Very clean and everything is in order. The timing is changed, the rest of the seals, too, the gasket on the cover is normal. We put everything back. Delov for 15 min.

At the same time he took off the rear brake drum … was shocked, the pads remained 1mm, the drum was full of grooves. We will change and sharpen everything. But it's getting warmer.

I also got confused and immediately ordered the entire engine repair kit =))
The engine went over and now I'm waiting for it to get warmer.

I don’t remember exactly, I planted it the same way as they stood)), that is, one took out a new one, inserted it, etc.
If you take a photo, I'll try to remember.
In general, the gland should go a little on the spark plug well when you cover the lid. If this condition is met, then everything is correct.

The question is, how deep did you put the spark plug seals into the valve cover (flush or all the way)? thanks in advance for your reply.

Judging by the photo on the internet all the way, the master just set it flush to me.
