about punctures and bridgestone - Toyota MR2, 1.8 L, 2002
Somewhere between Friday and Saturday I am driving along the Moscow Ring Road, no one around, a new coating, even without markings ...
... BOOM! at first I thought that it wasn’t with me, I looked around: there was still no one around ... I stopped at some market under a light bulb. the left rear wheel is punctured and some piece of iron about 3 centimeters wide sticks out. I put a stowaway, get stuck in a traffic jam in the area for 40 minutes strictly (this is at 2.30 am!), The stowaway lowers, I drive into the VR, pump it up, almost fall asleep while driving ... at 4 o'clock I'm at home ...
…Sunday. agreed with a friend that he would give me 2 used tires from his car, it turns out to be Bridgestone RE01R.
…Monday. I get up early to be in time before work in the tire service. disassemble the rear wheels and see: a metal tube 25 centimeters in length and 3 in diameter has completely gone into the wheel!
go crazy, I'm amazed: the cones that limited the repair area were only removed from that section of the road and they forgot to clean up the garbage ... it's good that I was driving about 100 on an empty road, and I was not carried away, but usually at such a time the speed reaches the maximum possible in order to not to lose my rights, respectively, to 160, I think I would not get off with a simple stop ...
But we will see the positive sides in everything: the RE01R is much softer, more comfortable, quieter and an order of magnitude better road holding than the RE040 (because of which my opinion about the summer bridgestone was far from the most positive). besides RE01R looks much cooler and has developed lateral disc protection. such are the different bridgestones =)
PS. And also to your attention a funny Frog on a dock =))
All that is not done everything is for the better man :) Congratulations on the right rubber :) Of course, thank God that everything turned out well ...
you will not believe the 19th, when you left your comment, night. 23.50 I caught a hole for one and a half lanes on the way home ... 2 tires broke ... and threw to the side ... thank God everything worked out ...
