Alteration of rear optics ... - Toyota Corolla, 1.4 liter, 2000
I had an idea about a month ago to remake my taillights in the "ala Audi" style, that is, insert LEDs into the rear optics ... I could not decide on this for a long time, but I decided and I already managed to make one headlight ... how much nerves and effort I spent on it ... but I am satisfied with the result)))
Please do not judge strictly, everything was done with my own hands and for the first time))))
but now only I have such headlights))
Figure 7 shows what the headlight looked like originally ... compare, comment, ask questions))
appreciated, well done that he himself and the fact that he didn’t lose his mind to do this venture) is good at it)
Thank you Pash) Yes, I’ll do it soon, just an exam in 2 days, I’m getting ready (((and after it I’ll finish the second)
well done! Definitely looks better than before! well, + what he did) let's do the second one the same way
well, Kostyan, not better than xen, of course, but it looks like the color) xen would blind)
By the way, in reverse gear and turn signals, too, diodes are only in the form of light bulbs, they shine very well, especially in reverse gear, it is almost indistinguishable from xenon, you can see it in the last photo.
Duck, I agree that it is brighter, but this one doesn’t even shine very badly, they have a glow power of 4300 kelvins, directly if you look at them, they also blind, especially at night, well, in general, everyone has their own opinion, but I like how they shine)
thank you very much =) tried)
By the end of the week I hope to make a second headlight, and make a full photo report of how and what is being done) so you can try to do the same)))
super as angelana in my opinion looks. Can I ask the headlight how did it dismantle it on its own sealant, or did you stick it in from the inside?
it’s not on sealant, it’s actually soldered to the block from the factory, so I carefully soldered it with a knife along the edge (melted it) and then put it on glue and sealant when I assembled it back.
