First, my congratulations! -) why did you leave the rear pillars white?-)

secondly, you, damn it, beat me to it! I also wanted to repaint all the silver in white! -((What should I do now?-)

thirdly ... let's give a full report on materials and time spent ... the ceiling is of particular importance! where, who and how?
what paint did you paint the parts with? primed or something? in general, comrade, we ask for help in the form of tips!

yes, well, there would be more pictures from afar ... and more honestly ...

and I didn’t understand, is the torpedo also a peretyantua or something?

I wonder what kind of material is on the ceiling ... Mlyn, tupanul, at the beginning I read ... it turned out cool ...

where did you get the leatherette? And what kind of glue did you use? does it hold up well?
and it's really cool, great work!

Well, I’m finally writing a report ...
And so all the silver-colored part, belt linings were dismantled, handles, door trims were removed (they were there on the spike, so I had to pick it all up, and later fixed with silicone so that they played during body roll and not sat rigidly and did not creak), the box was also disassembled, more precisely the top of the sidewall and the rim, the holders of the visors. The whole thing was cleaned up, degreased and covered first with a primer, and after a few days with the paint itself, not forgetting to degrease the whole thing before each coating.
They bought mobiheel paint, they took a piece of the old bumper and picked it up by eye ... varnish after painting does not need to be varnished, since it is acrylic, more precisely colored varnish ...
While the handles were dismantled, the roof was removed after stripping all the clips of the interior light fixtures and the door rubber bands. They didn’t peel off the old roof lining, they threw glue directly on it - special glue for vinyl, I don’t know the name, the cover was gray. and gradually overlaying ironed Carpet.
They removed the front side racks and belt racks, they glued the leather deputy in the same way as the Carpet, the only thing that needs to be tightened is the whole thing, they held the whole thing with office clamps.
The rear pillars were also covered with a carpet, although the material ran out on the last one, we’ll finish it a little later ... I’ll show you the finished one a little later ...
The visors weren’t peeled either, a white muton was bought, and the girl sewed all this stuff, as if I couldn’t help but see, now it’s really a dilemma how to insert the mirror back, but I will also show this later.
The center console of the radio tape recorder is the most problem, in the standard there were side slots between the radio tape recorder ... they started with fiberglass and eboxy, but no matter how hard they tried, the whole thing fell off a day later, they found the standard frame of the radio tape recorder, and inserted it a little behind because the radio tape recorder did not fit on top there climbed evenly, the whole thing was laid with putty ...
because of it, the following problem arose, since the bottom of the panel was pimples like the whole panel, putty fell on it and these dimples remained somewhere, but they didn’t ... bought liquid putty and 10 layers of them managed to close it ... it all dried up, we decided to paint not white but black, in a simple black matte color from a balloon ...
the process of painting the discs was also standard sanded, degreased, and painted ... though the paint was taken snow-white, it was planned to cover the rest of the car with a white mat later, although now this is already in question ...
at the price of
varnish-colorful primer material - 4-5 thousand rubles
matter: carpet-1000r leather deputy 2000-r muton 900r
glue one balloon 550 and there were 4.

for Surgut residents, deputy leather, carpet and glue are all in the audio store, the main thing is that the glue should be with a gray cover

A
Andre1111 01.03.22

the steering wheel there is also not difficult to understand on the bolts ...

somebody 01.03.22

THANKS! -) you're good!

only I don’t want to use leatherette, but paint everything ... they say, due to the fact that our plastic is greasy, the paint (if without primer) can peel off ... is that so?

degreased with what? vodka maybe? -)

and what kind of soil?

it’s a little expensive if you do it yourself ... wouldn’t it be easier to give it to the salon?

s
somebody 01.03.22

of course, it’s more interesting for yourself ... but there would be another place where to do this ...-(

A
Andre1111 01.03.22

it’s much more interesting to do it yourself,
Yes, they really say about plastic, the handles broke off a little, but this cannot be avoided
The primer in the store will tell you which one to take ... primer for plastic for bumpers, etc.
The handles were not primed for this, maybe they crumbled a little bit

somebody 01.03.22

worried? - )

A
Andre1111 01.03.22

ahh, I forgot to degrease, with a special degreasing liquid, Mobichel, a liter can of a penny costs ... and degrease the vodka inside so that your hands do not shake :) (tremble) :) :) :)
