Super Strut Suspnesion - Toyota Corolla, 1.6L, 1998

Super Strut Suspnesion - Toyota Corolla 16L 1998

So, I still decided to start upgrading my favorite pepelatsa with a suspension.
It all started with the acquisition of the suspension itself. I bought the suspension without a stub, without brake discs and with the condition of the return of the struts. I wanted to stir up one feature with the crossing of horse shock absorbers and a super stratum, for this I needed killed struts from the CCC.
Of course, the suspension is not new, I replaced 3 torn anthers from the killed levers from the Audi, I wonder, but for some reason the Germans have levers made of aluminum, and they don't weigh a damn thing)
Everything was normal except for the torn silencer. Thought and decided to change the silent. Silent silencers ccc are very similar to silent ones from Mac,
that's why I bought 2 polyurethane silencers for poppy through the site vtulka.ru, yellow).
Further, the question was behind the stub and brake discs. I bought the wheels in Khimki, and bought a TRD stub (blue and thick) from Nikita (japanwheels.ru).
Then came a long time of torment with winter wheels R15, but in the end I bought rims and used tires, as it turned out very well everything turned out)
Well, finally the moment came and I went to a friend to change the silent. We burned out the old ones and oops, it turned out that the Makovsky ones are 3mm larger than the eyelet in the lever. But this did not bother me, so there was a drunken turner who grinded off the silencers and repressed, in general, everything went chiki-bamboos)
So, the time is 14.00, having bought a bottle of cola 2 snacks and 2 pizzas, my friend and I close in the garage. With wd's at the ready, uprooting my cow begins.
Time 16.00 almost removed the suspension on one side, but the bolt in the front silencer, stuck to this silent, that is, he unscrewed the smoke and the lever could not be removed, and as luck would have it, someone took the grinder and promised to bring it in 1.5 hours, but brought it only to 19.30.
Armed with a grinder, we sawed this evil *** uchy silent and removed everything, the solemn moment of installing and connecting the strat has come. Everything fell into place, even the brake hoses, the ABS sensor and the steering tips (though they conjured something with the hoses, they took the Makovsky's family and connected it to the Strat calipers).
So the time is 22.00 with one side over)
We move on to another, here everything was removed without problems. They began to put a strat, and somehow the bolt that holds the silent of the zadengo lever began to twist, in general, for some reason I tore off the nut ((, which is welded on the other side of the body. As a result, the almost twisted bolt dangles, although the silent is very tightly pressed by the bracket from the bottom Well, in general, all finished with this side and began to put a stub, it turned out that there did not even smell like being installed in the standard mounts, the tuned stub was placed right above the outlet track at the point of contact between the pants and the flame extinguisher). , nl in the end everything fell as if it should be.
Naturally, the wheels were in this position / , if you look from above, so I also had to set the toe-in by eye.
In general, the time is 5.30 in the morning, everything is over, there are only last checks left, bleeding the brakes.
And so, the time is 6.00, with a muzzle battened down like a tractor, with unused brakes, I’m creaking and rattling off a bolt I’m going home))

And now I’ll tell you how I got the horses in front.
First, he took the killed rack from the SS, unscrewed a large nut, drained all the oil, took out the cartridge.
Then it was necessary to prepare a rack for installing horse cartridges.
First, I drilled a hole at the bottom, through this hole the bolt will be screwed into the cartridge, and thereby fix it in the rack.
Since the CC posts are 5mm wider than the poppy, I made a copper ring to remove the difference in diameter. Thus, it turned out that the cartridge is fixed in the rack from above, with a ring and a bolt from below. Then the usual operation of installing the complete stands)
