Brain surgery — logbook Toyota FJ Cruiser 2008

    Toyota FJ Cruiser 40 2008

I installed a volumetric air flow meter calibrator, on which a map with my parameters (inlet, outlet) was recorded. The device is placed in the gap between the flow meter and the brain and distorts the lean mixture data and optimizes it for intake.
After a short test drive, I noticed an improvement after 3000 rpm. Previously, the car accelerated a little, now it just picks up. There is an increase, but only at full throttle and after 3000 rpm. Now in theory I have 270 forces.

P.S. I remembered dentistry - the brains are under / behind the glove compartment - I had to cut neatly thin wires with cancer

Karabaras

see - in the standard a mixture of 10: 1. No matter how much air passes, it's still 10:1. It turns out that more fuel is pouring than necessary and it does not burn out completely. This thing makes a mixture of 12:1 - that is, 2 parts more air, correspondingly less fuel - the mixture is poorer, but it burns more efficiently. Something like this. All stock cars pour more than they should, so almost all chips make cars more economical

For me, this is a discovery! On all my cars, after chipping, the consumption increased ...

Thank you, I understand, I'll study the question!

Didn't understand anything. The machine sucks in as much air as the throttle is open and how much the filter is able to pass through. Became "leakier" filter — more air. The flow meter calculated this and informed the brains - they corrected the mixture (added fuel). It turns out that, on the contrary, the mixture is enriched - no? Where did I mess up?

they correct it in the usual direction - the machine sucks in as much as it needs and that's it

And why are the stock brains themselves unable to adjust the mixture for the amount of air sucked in by the cone?

I will remove it before installing the compressor, I will not need it. I'll bring it with me.

Hello. Throw a link, what kind of CHIP from URD did you buy?

K
Karabaras 01.03.22

in general, it is imprisoned for the turbocharged / afe intake box and the exhaust that you have. If I bring it, we'll sort it out on the spot. I'll take Omul :)

When are you coming? What will be needed to install it? Nulevik has not yet bought ... The price of the question?
