Engine preparation - 1 - logbook Toyota Caldina 1997
The motor is standing, waiting in the wings. The hour will come after replacing the intake gaskets, exhaust gaskets, turbine gaskets, and injector rubbers. They are still on the way.
The oil dried up a little in some places, at first I think to fill in inexpensive flushing oil, Shell or equivalents. There are 3 fuel filters in stock. The turbine has no backlash, the intercooler is dry inside, so everything is OK.
Now a question for those in the know. The gear wheel on the Engine and the donut of different thicknesses, so which one to leave? The one on the engine is about 30% thicker.

As I understand it, this is a flywheel ... If so, then the one that is thinner is clearly better! Because it is clearly easier)
A flywheel that is thinner (if it is lighter) will probably be better, it’s not for nothing that people make them lighter ...
