A little bit left until the end of Stage 2 ... - Toyota Mark II, 2.5 L, 1997
I could not resist, and decided to add some photos "from the fields". Stage 2, that is, a complete redesign of the exterior is coming to an end. Hope to get the car by next Thursday. It would have turned out earlier, if not for the fucking D-max (as they wrote to me here, it's creepy, and not a jamb with new wheels ... As I wrote, the wheels changed. The trick came out next. The rear wheels were 10J, offset 40, steel 9.5J departure 38, that is, should have been deeper in the arches by 1 cm somewhere ... The car was 90% prepared for painting, and then I was jerked to come try the wheels ... The front ones, as I thought, got up a little a bit deep (the wings are widened by 1.5 cm, you will need spacers by 10-12 mm), but the rear ones ... stick out from the arches by 1.5 centimeters, that is, MORE than the previous ones. The result of much thought was a surgical intervention (done today and tomorrow) in the form of cutting and expanding the arches by 2-2.5 cm. Otherwise it will be impossible to drive. So that's it ...
First try-ons for new sills and wings ...
The wings are on, the wheels too :)
And here are the loose rear ...
From above ...
In front ...
Behind ...
And on the side ...
What will happen after rolling - let's see ... :)
This is something very vicious. As far as I saw, they are being rolled out with such a cunning device
The pictures have not been expanded yet :)))). They are being made today. Photos will be converted later. Arches are cut, bent, and boiled. No megamachines from Yakhi :)))))
It's just that special machines for rolling arches are sold on the yacht :) Look :) They cost about $ 300. I haven't seen it anywhere else, that's why I call it :))))
Waiting)
The first time I hear about "cars with YAHI" =)))
What I saw is more likely a Russian folk handicraft =)))
Well I wrote: "no typewriters from Yakhi." :)) They can't roll it out a lot, and it turns out shitty - they bought this from me, played it a little bit, said "shit" and sold it :))) And before the appearance of these machines, and even now, the arches are expanded just like that ... Today I called up and found out how things were going. One is rolled out, it turned out, they say, good ... Tomorrow I'll go - I'll look. Wait for Atchod :)
