And this is how it looks inside (Toyota Camry HYBRID). - Toyota Camry, 2.4L, 2008
Good day to everyone who looked to me in the logbook!
As I promised, I'm posting photos of the engine compartment, trunk and interior of the hybrid Camry.
Some explanations for the photographs:
1. General view of the engine compartment;
2. Actually the "hero of the occasion" himself - the electric motor!;
3. Another view of the engine compartment (left side);
4. Luggage compartment (unfortunately, only the battery terminal is visible, which is necessary to diagnose the battery itself and the entire electrical circuit);
5. The battery is located on the right side of the luggage compartment;
6. General view of the luggage compartment;
7. Salon;
8. Start button;
9. Rearview mirror with compos (in the photo we are standing strictly to the South)
10. CVT box;
11. JBL audio system;
12. Technical window for ventilation of the battery (located behind the backs of the rear passengers);
13. Clem for connecting diagnostic equipment.
Watch and leave your comments!
PS To be continued ...
Everything is correct. The battery is hidden under this "bulge" (unfortunately, I cannot throw it back and show it). I can only say that basically all the electrics on the Japanese Camry are from two firms: "Denso" and "Panasonic".
Just on a regular Camry, the trunk is without a bulge, tk. there are no batteries =)
It seems smooth. But I didn't measure it myself :-) (probably my eye is slanting).
uh, what's that around the extra brake light? air deflector?
PS damn it, I read the description, I understood everything)
No, the trunk isn't much smaller. The rear seats fold out in a 2/3 ratio. So that there is enough space for luggage.
I thought the trunk would be much smaller due to the batteries, but it turns out to be quite normal =))
No, it didn't seem. Everything is very simple and ascetic. Solid plastic (though nice to the touch) and leather.
Did it seem to me or is it really: there is no eternal object of criticism in the cabin - wood grain finishes?
Difficult to compare ... Maybe a little more frolic, but again the variator box does not allow to jerk from the spot right away so that gravel would fly from under the wheels. But, on the other hand, the engine (more precisely, two engines) allows you to do a lot at speed.
The first time I see such a mode, I learned a lot from your informative story. You have a rich package bundle! Will it frolic from 2.4? The 2.4 did not like the lack of dynamics, despite the fact that it was on the mechanics.
"Brake" mode - engine braking. It is worth switching the box to this mode and the engine itself starts to slow down without driver intervention.
