Body kit. Unscrew, adjust, fasten, put in place - Toyota Mark II, 2.0 l., 1994

Before painting the bumper, I decided to apply a lip to it. More precisely, it was my faithful friend Olezhik who advised me.

- well, these painters will be screwed at random, and we will do everything neatly - he said :)

In general, I drove up after work, in traffic jams, to Olezhik's harassment. And this lover of garage tuning was already waiting for me fully armed and his hands were itching - you could even see some gloves :)

Olezhik loves Marchik so much that he is ready to drown and dissolve in him;)

Quite quickly, we removed the bumper and Marchik appeared before us in this form

Small lip tweak. Olezhik cuts off excess plastic to facilitate construction and optimize weight distribution along the axes :)

Olezhik's hands are inserted at the correct end! And they are sharpened for the installation of a body kit for Mark and not only :)

Control examination of the master!

The lip and bumper docking was successful. Thank you so much, friend!

Yes, Olezhek is a fine fellow, I still remember his kind words looking at my black casting :-)))

YOU ARE WELCOME! :)

No, after painting.

The bumper lip has already been painted complete.

And I would have missed the remaining small cracks with a sealant, so that the dirt-bastard would not climb there :)

It would be better to use white, of course, but you are tortured to pick it up so that it does not stand out from the general background.

With the subsequent painting of the sealant?)

Another putty as a whole and vashp nishtyak!

Sealant with ordinary colorless would be covered, but Alexei rested :)

Also true, the painter knows better!

I wanted it as one piece, but the painter convinced me. The putty will turn into stone over time and will crack inevitably!

In principle, the lip was fitted almost plump.
In some places there is a gap, but no more than 1-1.5 mm, and it does not strike the eye at all.

I think so Lyokha will post the result of the work in the near future :)
Then you will appreciate :)

Yes, not with a sealant, in my opinion, not an option then)
Although if the color is in color, then you can ...)

Oh, that's it! Well, we are reasonable people, we can think about it, strain the imagination of engineering thought and propose something!

You know, Ilya, why doesn't he take pictures?
Because he has an overall antenna at work in a loose form on a newspaper, and without it in the bumper, in the most conspicuous place, there is a hole 20 millimeters in size, gee, gee, :)

I'm already afraid to remind him of it, otherwise he will follow me with a mount and hint to throw him a new sketch for turners :)

We are waiting for you!
