Replacing the CV joint boot. - Toyota Carina, 1.5L, 1997
The left boot of the CV joint was changed quite recently along with the internal and external grenade, but on the right side, things are a little better and only the replacement of the boot of the external CV joint was required.
The boot was bought a year ago for 350r and he rode for a year in the trunk waiting in the wings) and lubrication of the CV joint about 50r
There were no difficulties with replacing, except for probably stupid clamps that it was decided to leave the old ones.
if there is an opportunity and desire to replace ATP in the automatic transmission, then it is better to drain the ATP and remove the entire drive shaft assembly, then calmly disassemble it on the table or knees, replace the necessary, lubricate and properly fasten the clamps on the anthers and then install everything in place in Automatic transmission.
Plus, it will not be superfluous, with this procedure, to replace the oil seal sealing the automatic transmission connection and the internal grenade.
how to change the boot on the right side?
on the left changed a couple of months ago through the inner end.
And on the right side, the clamps on the inner grenade will probably torture you during the installation process?
thanks!
replaced without draining ATP. Merged when replacing the left anther.
Everything turned out to be quite simple.
Now I'm thinking about BC.
aaa))) I just happened so that the moment of replacing ATP and the anther coincided)
what did you think of the computer board?
pulled off the entire drive, but the transmission did not flow out, because the car is jacked up.
