Oil change of removable caps - Toyota Carina, 1.5L, 1997
The problem of oil consumption has been hovering for a long time and there were serious suspicions about the second cylinder. Together with the timing belt, I bought everything I needed to replace the caps and planned, if anything, to replace the piston rings.
But when I got to the caps of the second cylinder, I saw amazing things: the cap of the second cylinder of the intake valve was torn in half (the rubber band with a spring separately, and the metal holder sat tightly on the guide)
In general, together with my wife, all 16 caps were replaced in 4 hands, and today I will buy drive belts and replace the timing belt.
