Heater Radiator Replacement (Part 1) - Toyota Mark II, 2.0L, 1993
That day of judgment has come ... 15,000 rubles. Well, I don’t want to pay for the work of STOs, I have free time, I decided to take up my enthusiasm. I started replacing the heater radiator. Naturally began with the analysis of the torpedo. Until complete removal has not yet reached, tk. Well, the bolts on the steering shaft lining did not give in. Not enough nerves, took a break. Actually, in what order the photo, in this way I took apart the car. So far, the analysis is proceeding according to the ABC book, the sequence of actions is indicated there exactly.
1. Remove the climate control panel, selector panel and radio.
2. Remove the instrument panel.
3. Remove the panel at the driver's feet.
4. Remove the panel at the feet of the passenger and the glove compartment.
5. Remove the center panel between the seats.
The occupation, of course, is not overwhelming at all, I have already decided for myself for sure - there would be money, I would give this work 100% to the STO specialists ... We are waiting for the second part to be continued.
ZY For prophylaxis, I poured "Liquid Plumber" into the purchased contract radiator for several hours, later with salt and a solution of citric acid. Let it clean while I throw off the torpedo.
Price tag: 0 ₽Ahh, he's taken off you! I blunt! =)
The proportions are as follows: the more the better (within reason)! =) nothing will be bad! We need boiling water! And shit and everything will not dissolve! The muddy water is coming.
First, I poured boiling water into the radiator, the radiator instantly completely warmed up, I almost dropped it from my hands (I almost burned my hands). While it was hot, I completely drained the water out of it and immediately filled in the "liquid plumber". The whole thing took about 5 hours. Then he began to rinse, there was almost no shit in the chain. Now I'm making a solution of citric acid, I want to put it on overnight. Do you think that if I put too much lemon into the water, nothing bad will happen? I just don't know what proportions to do.
Well done! Keep it up! As for the lemon: pour it with boiling water! so there will be no effect! The idea is apparently from a tourer! =) I washed mine the other day, there is no time to throw a report (=! But soon! Kick blows! My hand is burning! =)
