My tuning p. 1 - Boost sensor - Toyota Mark II, 2.5 L, 1993
I'll start talking about my tuning in simple language, maybe it will come in handy for someone.
The first thing I bought was the Sard mechanical boost sensor.
Mechanical - which means that you need to pull the vacuum tube directly into the cabin. The tube cuts through the tee into any hose leading from the intake manifold. If connected correctly, the device will show a vacuum at idle. If it shows 0, then it is connected to the choke. I need a heat-resistant tube - I bought a silicone.
There was no need to make new holes in the engine shield - the hole for the clutch cylinder was not occupied.
From the sensor there are two wires for the backlight - plus and minus. Plus, I threw it on the backlight wire of the radio, to which voltage is given only when the dimensions are on. Minus cling anywhere on the body.
The sensor itself is attached to the steering column cover.
On a stock car, the boost sensor is rather a nice decoration. I think that even if the tube somehow falls off the turbine actuator, the cutoffs on the drain brains will prevent the engine from killing.
Price tag: 2 500 ₽Quite simply - this is a beautiful pressure gauge;)
Shows the boost pressure. Well, or vacuum, if it hasn't come to pressurization yet.
I don’t understand anything… but I want to learn… what is sensor. boost. and what does it show… B-))))?
That would be very great! Describe in detail and add pictures to the description!
Thanks. I put it myself, that's why I write. I just started, I want to describe my whole boost.
Beautiful pribluda and necessary! Another would be to make the rest of the illumination to match the color of the sensor with diodes and the beauty will be! Five for your efforts! Please create a blog in the club!
It doesn't read anything, it's a stupid pressure gauge connected to the intake manifold :)
