3D carbon - Toyota Will VS, 1.8L, 2002
I glued the aluminum panels in the cabin with 3D carbon film. I
also experimented with a film on the door glass frame, but did not get the desired effect, because from the side it looks almost the same color as the car (matte black is better)
and I also made a little naklek on the trunk)))
Proof, this film is made from aluminum with carbon fiber imitation notches, all under a glossy finish. It shimmers in the sun in a similar way to carbon.
the fact of the matter is that it is difficult to convey the effect through a photo (in the photo everything seems to be 2D) I
bought it here: www.go-shop.ru/category/3d-plenka-karbon-carbon/
they also have matte, textured vinyl, about which you mentioned ... and many more ...
it looks not 3D carbon, but 2D because it glitters, and the relief is not visible, 3d matte-corrugated ...
MAKSIMUS, it says about payment ...
payment upon receipt, by mail-cash on delivery (very convenient)
in time it took me 2 weeks by mail, came in a strong cardboard tube (packed with high quality). And also by email, messages come about a change in the status of your order.
I bought in an online store, sent it by mail,
I only bought half a meter for so much,
I think to cover it with a different textured film (carbon look)
no, I haven't warmed it,
maybe it would help
now at home there is still a supply of 3D carbon vinyl textured film, but until it is not before it
, you first need to make a car
that film that I had stuck strongly
when tore off the glue remained on the part and not on the film - which did not please me
understandable, thanks.
but then a piece of carboplaster has been in the garage for a week now ... but I'm afraid to glue it :)
there are no pictures, flap as well as the black original film on the racks
on the covers of the tunnel lining without flaps
and there are no pictures left ... on the reverse side? see what kind of turn I did ...
and I'm especially interested in how the corners of the part glued :)
myself.
gluing such a film is quite a simple matter,
it does not last practically
a hairdryer will help 100%!
I had a sticker under the handbrake. something about a distributor or airbags.
When I tried to peel it off, pieces of millimeter came off and the glue remained on the plastic ...
Then I took a hairdryer from my mother, warmed it up a little ... and easily peeled off as a whole piece :)
2D is just a printed pattern. And this film consists of 2 layers. 1 is an aluminized film on which a pattern imitating a carbon fabric is extruded, and 2 is a glossy transparent color. it shimmers like lacquered carbon. This film does not stretch at all. and I also have a vinyl film with a pattern squeezed out in it, which imitates dry carbon, this one is glued to the right and left, up to pasting the entire body, it’s excellent stretching. I decorated it in the salon.
but what is in this logbook entry is deleted from the car. of this film, I only have a mouse (emblem from the movie "The Dark Knight") on the back door
350 h.p. from 2.5 liters it is very normal for stock cars. but do not forget that this car is front-wheel drive, and 305 for front-wheel drive is more than! without smart electronic systems on the front wheel drive, with such power, it is even dangerous.
A bucket on a wheel) 350 horses from a turbo engine, a little kick-ass (
I can keep quiet about the price
You will probably be surprised ... But even in factories they began to do this.
for example FORD Focus RS-500 (limited edition of 500 units, RS blown up to 350hp) all 500 units are painted with regular black paint and in the factory are completely and over covered with matte vinyl.
watch from 1min 40 sec
))) In Moscow, vinyl is used to glue McLaren, Lambo, Bentley, etc. people give hundreds of thousands for it)))
We have here what current is not pasted over, Finya 35 is the whole whole, well, this is moralism) everything will peel off! I bought the hood and the roof is pasted over, the roof has already gone (((
) reading further BZ noticed already, in my opinion to paste over the whole car "disease")
Looks gorgeous. Is the film self-adhesive? And in general, do these self-adhesive films go, or is it necessary to glue them separately?
This film does not stretch. you can paste over curved surfaces, but only curved specifically-cylindrical, etc.
Looks great! Listen, are any bends on the interior parts normally pasted over, or is it better to glue only flat parts with this film?!
the film is glossy and it really is very similar to the color of the car from some angles. Therefore, it is not immediately striking and is most noticeable when it "shimmers" in the sun's rays. What kind of film is described above in the comments. Made by hand: a pen, a ruler, a stationery knife ...
And how is the emblem of the Disepticon made? It seems like if it's like a sticker, then how does it shine flush with the car's varnish?
Both 3M (vinyl) and Taiwan (vinyl) stretch about the same. 50% stretching is not a problem at all. Here is a link to pasting with such a film. But I didn't use the stretch properties of the film, because the panels are flat.

That film (with foil in one layer) about which it is written in this logbook entry does not stretch at all.
