Кабздец трапеции… — Toyota Corolla, 1.6 л., 2004 года на DRIVE2

I will begin my story with a mystery covered in darkness.
The wipers creaked on the glass, as if they were driving a carnation.
I made the music louder, I thought to carry cotton wool in my ears ... I
filled the glass with a washer - it didn't help, it sounded disgusting ...

I bought new wipers, there were few differences…
In general, this creaking sound infuriated me to the point of immorality.
I thought to stick earplugs in my ears and ride in a helmet made of Kevlar.
Blago, the roof in the car is high - it would allow me to do this.

Well, more to the point, of course I'm tired of it ...
I decided to accidentally force my mortal body to understand the problem.
Disconnected the wiper from the glass to wipe it again so that it does not creak.
I looked and he was hanging out on the trapeze, like out of work ...

I was delighted, I thought how the screw had stupidly unscrewed in the "top ten".
I checked it, well, no, you can't even unscrew it with a key.
I decided to take off the frontal skirt and look at the trapeze ...
But because of the tightly tightened screws I realized that I would have to sweat ...

Today I drove into the service, the repairman tugged at it ... He
said: - "Guy, trapeze of the kabsdets", I erased a smile from my face.
He advised me to go to the dismantling or to the auction.
Motor, he says it is intact, but the mechanism itself is broken ...

And it seems to me that all this is due to our "omyvayki"
Chemistry destroys even dense adhesions ...
Corrosion and a portion of winter frost, coupled with the fact that flies from under the wheels.
And that's all - with the breakage of the trapezoid, the issue was quickly resolved.

You know, the truth is either admitted or it hurts the ear and provokes anger.
You are a kind of honest guy and open, people like you will not get around success.

again I cannot disagree with you =)

You know Zhenya - when nothing breaks, the soul still requires investment.
Then tuning begins, which requires a lot of savings.
Better to fix the trapezoid with a couple of unnecessary movements.
Than driving a car like a soulless creature, no change.

here I completely agree =) but still it would be better if nothing ever broke =)

Yes, no - in the end it all the same raised the mood.
It would be strange if nothing broke in 5 years ...

I sympathize = (any breakdown, even not significant, strongly spoils the mood = (

Aaaaaa
Then a substitution :(

So she herself does not creak - she walks like a grandmaster's pestle in a mortar with a potion)))

I, too, screamed monstrously. The blame for all the washer from "Neste" was. Cleans well, safe, but the trapezoid eats during the winter. I still fought with her on Lanos. :(
In general, the following helped me: completely disassemble it and spill all the WD40 connections, slightly picking them up with a screwdriver or a knife, so that more gets inside. I pulled it out, connected it to the wiring, started it at full power and filled it with a crate until it ran out. Then I collected everything neatly. A few hours later there was a blissful silence :)
On Lanos I also thought that a trapezoid was to be replaced. They fixed it on a warranty service, in about the same way. In general, go for it.

thanks for the advice ... I still seem to be holding on, but the new trapezoid is already playing pranks ...

The trapeze of the Corolla campaign is a weak point ... on my E11, however, after 4 months of inactivity in the winter, they soured ... I didn't immediately stuck what was the matter and burned the motor ...

trapeze, as it were garbage, replaced ... I don't remember why, but a penny, but I jumped with a motor ... a new one was almost 10 thousand worth ... about 5-6 for disassembly, but they were nowhere to be found ... as a result, I was prompted to rewind it ... found a small one a workshop where they repair any electrical equipment ... in general, somewhere in 2000 they rewound, something was replaced there and everything became tip-top, if suddenly someone's motor burns out, do not run to look for a new one, I advise you to rewind it;) I can tell you where they did it - write in private - I will answer.

And I had a problem, a wild creak ... He took off the trapeze, took out the guide of the large wiper from the bushing, removed the rust and smeared the whole thing with grease. Then he put it back together. Now you can only hear how the wipers crawl on the glass :)
