Noise isolation of the cabin of my behemoth - Toyota Allex, 1.8 L, 2001

Began not hasty interior soundproofing!
We began to make noise from the tailgate and in the course of work we will move into the salon. Plans to glue the entire interior. The roof and the floor are "isolon", the doors are in two layers of "STP" and in the third layer with "Bito-plast" all the plastic panels are "Bito-plast"
Today, only the trunk is glued in two layers of STP. the tailgate is weighted at least 5 kg.

For example, I have never raced, and I don’t want to, so I decided to think about comfort.

Kaaaaak I understand you) but having the 2nd I would probably think about such work. fighting for seconds it is necessary to facilitate the car)

I read a lot about gluing before doing it and in several sites I was horrified at how much heavier the car is getting :(

I glued the salon in my Avensis also myself. I read a lot on "sandwiches", etc. There is no sense in caring for a car. There are other layout materials that create good noise and vibration isolation (2 layers of STP - HARD and HARD)))). But for now I pasted over STP M2 with vibroplast. The sound has already changed, but I will not undertake to make a torpedo myself - this is painfully responsible.
I left the salon and the ceiling for now) I also want to study what material is better to do))
