In general, for about 2 weeks we discussed and drew the substrate. The European one was taken as a basis, which is why some inaccuracies were obtained in the end (the absence of a cruise on a European), but they are not noticeable. Yes, the substrate was not cheap, at 6000r. But on the forum I have not yet seen a better tidy,

And when it came, a long rework began, which lasted 6 months.
I immediately changed the places of the speedometer and tachometer, in principle it is easy, but the arrows cannot be set without an on-board computer.

Further backlighting, just changed the diodes. Traveled for a couple of months.

But ... such is the peculiarity of the substrate, that when the state is off, the numbers are black, and when it is turned on, they are white, respectively, there is no diffuser behind the numbers, because of this 2,4,6,8 x1000 revolutions shone dimly. Sean told how and where to connect the additional 4 diodes.

I also mentioned that you can enhance the backlight of the arrows, which interested me very much. As a result, 3 additional diodes were put under each arrow, but they had to put more resistance than usual ... otherwise the arrows burned too brightly. The display has white LEDs, but when refracted they give a blue effect ... it's a pity it's not red. Nevertheless, the display on board the computer is the same (although I can't find a polarized film so that these two displays are the same). + The radio tape recorder is based on blue light with red buttons. So everything looks very nice.

I put a lot of white diodes in the stove. By the way, only one lamp burned there before, which is why I actually decided to change everything together. I inserted about 14 diodes there ... I achieved uniformity almost everywhere except for 1st place ... but there it is not very noticeable. Installing diodes there, without damaging the plastic, was very gemoric. But you can return everything to a standard state in a couple of minutes.
I will immediately answer the question about the tachometer ... which will arise. Cutoff 8200.
