$ 150 USB Port - Toyota Avensis, 1.8L, 2007
In life I am a musical bum - I listen to everything from rap to jazz :) But I can't go without "my" music :) And when there is a lot of music around, I can't fit it on static discs ...
In the 11th I had excellent high-quality music (I can't remember my head anymore) - the source was an Asus P750 communicator with 8GB SD - all houses were flooded via Wi-Fi at wind speed.
And in Avensis there was a crisis - I was going to change the typewriter in the future - I did not want to install something expensive, and the sound quality was generally okay (nothing at all for stock voice acting). I just wanted to supplement it with something a la USB.
The teammates found a way out :)
The device was purchased at the Mitinsky radio-engine - installed personally in 15 minutes (praise to Toyota designers - the assembly and disassembly of the front panel is ingenious).
Plugs in instead of a changer and operates like a 12-disc changer. The sound quality is unchanged compared to MP3. And now the cons:
1) not protected from interference in any way - the phone within a meter radius, working in active mode, hangs up the device. True, when the interferences stop, the device also dies
2) Some flash drives are not readable (maybe I’m stupid)
3) The limitation is 12 folders with strict names (CD01, CD02, etc.) and 99 files inside. There are no special recommendations for the names - it seems like omnivorous
4) The slot for SD-cards does not work for me
5) Reads strictly mp3 (stupidly ignores the rest of the files)
Otherwise, it works like a normal changer only sooo fast))) When the ignition is turned on, it plays from the place of stopping, the sound in the files does not jump, it does not jump from track to track :)))
Many people refuse to change the standard head - it fits well into the interior, of acceptable quality, etc. - then this choice is for you. Only tips annoy - who will tell you how to get rid of them on a budget - dimes from me with a slide :)
You can look at the device here

(not advertising - just the most common link with all models).
On a standard radio tape recorder, I did not feel any difference at all. MP3s did not differ in sound from the "disc" and from the "flash drive".
I have such a bells and whistles tozhk worth, bought from a teammate, plays super, however, compared to the sit, the quality is much worse, but then there is a lot of music
I will take this too. We'll have to go to the MSC, no one takes them to the regions.
And about a musical bum and not to live without "his" is +100 of course, about myself I can say the same =)
Well, there is only one problem - as I understand it - there is no AUX input in our radio tape recorder (at least a jack socket) - I didn't want to disassemble my head. I bought a device that fits into the changer slot. Of the advantages, the control remains all on the steering wheel and radio. With a player or an iPhone, you will have to mess with it - although to whom that. In the 11th I liked to listen from the phone - I came and picked it up - I went. The design of the player was much more colorful than the head.
By the way, according to the latest messages on the forum - there are devices combined with bluetooth - like you can hook a tube. I don't know how it works in real life :)
Good luck :) By the way, here is an interesting musical arrangement based on a standard head and there are many such examples:

I think it's easy to make an AUX output, as you do it, you already have experience ...
I was like that too - I was blown up and went - although from Ivanovo probably further :) If you have any questions about the operation of the device - write :)
I put it a couple of weeks ago. So far, only pleases. It works quickly, efficiently and the native radio tape recorder is good friends with this link.
Cost 5,000 with delivery, put for 300 neatly in the glove compartment.
CD playback quality yes. The format and quality are completely different. But MP3 will sound identical :) the flash drive is just a medium - the same as a disc - and there are files there and there.
I just came across this USB port on one of the tuning bmw sites :) I think now whether to take it! I myself am very tired of recording constantly on ordinary discs, I liked some kind of song, and now wait until there are 20 of them and you can write to a disc, and then fiddling with these discs, and a flash drive is of course the most convenient. but the question arose, someone writes that the quality of playback of songs from a flash drive is worse than from disks. Is it true? Someone like?
